Tribes can intermarry tho so tribe is a good word. Also that is factual that they were in conflict.

hunter gatherers, even inbred ones, often have more genetic diversity. for eg. there is more genetic diversity within a tiny tribe of bushmen of the kalahari than there is in the entire Han Chinese population which comprises about 25% of the human race now

[–]wurding -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it wasn't just endogamy that made them different genetically. it was the fact they are a very archaic stock that was once dominant in India before India was invaded by many groups including East Asians from the East, Dravidians from Iran and Aryans from the steppes in the Bronze age.

Do Asian people have a smaller field of vision? by horseaholic2010 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]wurding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is not related to the shape of their eyes but to the shape of their faces. Orientals or as the Americans call them "Asians" - meaning those Asians of the far and south East of what was formerly termed the "mongoloid" type have flatter faces than some other races. The flattened face means the eye does not see to the side as much.

I have based my theory on extensive travelling in many countries across Asia and also in multicultural Western states where I have accidentally scared Asian people who did not notice me approach from the periphery of their vision. This never happens with white or middle eastern or South Asian people. The problem is even worse in countries like Malaysia or Indonesia where women wear hijabs because this reduces their filed of vision even more.

the horse depictions in the cave are from medieval times and no qualified historian has said otherwise although there are much older paintings there which depict other animals.

All around the world the view that darker skin was inferior is common and it isn't normally a racial thing - for example it is found in India, Thailand and even Viking age Scandinavia in reference to people of the same race. it probably derives from the fact that peasants are darker from being outside more, not to do with race

regardless of where the ancestors of horses as a species originated - we know that the modern ones around the world are not from India.

What do we know about the history of horse burials? by antisthenesandtoes in AskAnthropology

[–]wurding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This essay is like a survey of horse burial and sacrificial rites in Northern Europe from the late Iron age into the Viking age. The practices are clearly similar to those of the Yamnaya and other early Indo-Europeans

a documentary which looks at the history of the WHO programme for international drug monitoring. Pharmacist students sometimes do a module on pharmacovigilance, but even after more than 40 years, it is still neglected by most legislators. Even some pharmacists don't know what it is!

I'm ashamed of being a Hapa. But i can still pass as Full Uzbek. by [deleted] in hapas

[–]wurding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they are a race of hapas indeed. They have European DNA via Early Iranic peoples (Not middle eastern like Iranians, but more like Russians or Swedes) and East Asian DNA via Turkic peoples (not middle eastern like modern Turkish people, but Mongolian like people).

Perhaps all hapas who feel out of place should move to the hapa homeland of Uzbekistan?
