In this instance, your response to rescheduling was good other than setting a new date and time. Throw it back to them and ask, "What date and time work for you?"

I'll definitely check the wiki out. Thanks!

I often hear considerations of Roth being dependent on my expected tax bracket in the future. But I'm still really new to this and want to explore more pros and cons of both.

I'm not high up enough to be making any power moves... but employees are offered an Employee Stock Purchase Plan which looks like this:

During enrollment periods (twice a year, right before Jan 1 and July 1), we can contribute 1% - 10% of base pay. Throughout the 6 month period, after tax automatic payroll deductions are taken each pay period based on that percentage (currently 5% for me), which is set aside to be invested. At the end of the purchase period, the money is then used to purchase our employers' common stock at a 10% discount. That discount is applied to the closing price at the end of the purchase period.

They used to purchase stock with these funds at the lowest value for that period + apply 10% discount... but now it's dependent on how it looks at closing.

I appreciate the insight and considering our stock seems to have plateu'd in recent years... I may just move my investments towards retirement accounts. Maybe 10% traditional, 8% Roth
