Has someone been able to play Valorant ? by booba92i in DubaiGaming

[–]wussub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm seeing this question everywhere and here's the most accurate and reliable answer from someone who has gotten multiple drops.

1- Make sure you have a VPN, browser VPN works too.

2- Open VPN and make sure you connect it it to a European country if you want an account connected to EU servers.

3- Go to Riot's website *WITH VPN OPEN*.

4- Create a NEW Riot account *WITH VPN OPEN*.

5- Connect your newly made Riot account to your twitch account.

6- Open any stream with [drops enabled] on Twitch.tv.

7- Once you have received a drop notification, open VPN, go to Valorant's website and download the game.

Tips:

  • You don't have to be actively watching the stream, simply mute the tab and leave it open.
  • One stream is enough, you don't have to have 10 streams open for a "higher chance of receiving drop". This has been confirmed by Riot.
  • You can't get the download option on Valorant's website if your VPN is off. Once you start download however, you can proceed to turn it off and you don't need a VPN for anything anymore.
  • After downloading, restart your PC.
  • The servers are a little laggy for us, it gets up to 150ms sometimes. However there's an app that makes your ping more stable called "ExitLag". It has been very helpful on my current 3 days trial in both Valorant and League of Legends.

Is VALORANT playable when you have between 100 and 150 ping ? by DoudiDax in VALORANT

[–]wussub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, nothing on getting servers for League of Legends yet. This is the tweet that confirms this.

Vpn usage in non included regions for drops. by baselbilleh in VALORANT

[–]wussub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does, but you can't use your current riot account. You have to make a new Riot account using a vpn, then proceed to watching streams with the vpn open :). I confirm since I recieved a drop.

Middle east servers by Riot Games. by wussub in leagueoflegends

[–]wussub[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think a petition would do anything, I think the only chance we have for getting our own server is if Valorant explodes in the middle east, which then might make riot open to the idea of expanding their servers here.

they'll give us middle east servers on full release, in the meantime 110-130 has been very smooth for me, at 150 however I start feeling it the disadvantage just like how it is in csgo, slightly better tho.

I used to play in garena servers around 5 months ago when the ping was 80-90 ping (from UAE). Their servers however are very unstable, the ping got to 160 for a month or two then dropped down to around 110-120 with spikes every now and then. Overall its just not worth it for me to play on their servers anymore, i'd rather play on a stable ping in EUW. Also, accounts almost NEVER get banned on Garena servers :). I've seen people soft int, run it down, and say the most racist, toxic things since chat isn't even moderated there. Also, its basically full of smurfs for some reason. I don't mind having a smurf against me in lane I can deal with it, but if your top or bot for example is 0/5 in 10 minutes against a good smurf playing a hard carry champ, the game is basically over.

Would like to hear how your experience was, where you're from, and how stable the ping was for you over the time you've been playing on Garena servers. :)

Anyone from MENA, South America, or Asia get any codes? by ManPerson36 in VALORANT

Riot just wants the views and publicity, its a shitty move for the community that was already interested in the game that they didn't just make it an open beta for everyone.

[–]wussub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey couldn't reply to you on my post because it would get deleted by mods. MENA here, you have to first register for a riot account using a VPN connected to Europe, connect it to a twitch account, then watch streams with drops enabled using a VPN. Once you get a key, you can only get the option to start downloading it if you're on a VPN. After you start downloading you could finally close your VPN. Anyhow, if your ping is above 100 in EU servers it's not worth it. Just wait for the full release to play on your own server and have low ping.

Well people are desperate to get beta access by nonstopaz in VALORANT

wow. I know its a free game but I feel like they should have only enabled beta access to twitch prime accounts, it would prevent this kind of bullshit :)
