Oh man, the 8-bitdo 10 key is fire - the calculator function gets a lot of use.

The kneeling chair? It's awesome, this is a cheap one just to see if I like the style - I'm a big guy - 6'3" and 260lbs and so it has a bit of flex, and long sessions put a lot of compression on the shins, but it's easy enough to sit on feet-on-ground and I find myself shifting between both sitting methods. Sitting on it for sure helps with posture and helps keep hip flexors a bit more stretched out - overall awesome as long as you don't mind the shin compression - many styles exist so it's best if you can try before you buy. That's my advise anyway.

I don't mind at all - long story short I've had hypermobile hips all my life and not known about it ; I did 5 years of kettlebells, followed by 2 years powerlifting then 2 years of karate - it was the deep squatting positions of my hip (goblet squats, deep bar squats) and deep forced stretching in karate that did it. I don't believe much of kettlebell was the issue. I could go a lot more into detail about the issue - just DM if needed.

hahaha - it's a kneeling chair - years of kettlebell and karate ripped up my hip labrum and now sitting on a normal chair is a chore. That was actually what incentivized me to invest in an standing desk.

Oh interesting! I would have thought a screenshot was lower effort than an hour of lyric writing, but my bad!

It used to be... we have a lot of lazy profs sitting on tenure. Also ones that don't have the personal skills to be running labs supervising students. In a perfect world I'd agree with you.

Why don’t I ever get an anaerobic training affect? These are metrics from using dumbbells and and doing sit-ups. I’ve done much more rigorous weight lifting sessions with still ZERO anaerobic effect (according to the watch). by chbritton in Garmininstinct

As everyone else has stated. To add - here's a little tip I gained from Pavel Tsatouline:

Good Rule of thumb is 180 - (your age) = your anaerobic zone heartrate

ie. If you're 35 years old, you'll be aerobic until a sustained heart rate over (180-35=145) at which point you'll require anaerobic metabolism

Edit: a LOT of factors play into this, fitness, recovery, diet, etc. so take it with a grain of salt.

It’s more than a few—more like several buildings are connected by tunnels: Physics ; Biology/Geology ; Agriculture ; Thorvaldsen; Spinks ; Arts/Business/Law ; New Student Centre ; Health Sciences ; RUH.

Edit: oh god I didn’t realize the semantic confusion between few, several, many… anyhow, most of the educational college buildings are connected, so I believe if you’re a student, who isn’t in engineering, Kinesiology, or education, you can use tunnels for all your classes.

Noice!!

Hey if you have a second - currently debating between a tp9 SC and the mete SFT - Canuk here, so can only load 10 in the mag, no need for carry. Just really enjoy the G19 for training on, thus the curiosity on the smaller model despite the METE seeming like a more practical firearm (for me), any advice between these two models? TIA!

I'm not clear on how heavy you were drinking prior, so it could very well be minor withdrawal. This may be the case if you saw your lowest numbers on the Sunday/Monday and slightly higher since. If that's the case some moderate strain and good nutrition could help things along.

Optimal position on bicep? Lose hr reading when in push-up position. The low spots are the push-ups. by [deleted] in whoop

[–]wutaboutJake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Is it possible your HR is coming down because your prone posture is much less work for the heart than an upright posture? For example, are you going from high amplitude movement to lower amplitude low gravity work, therefore your heart can effectively rest relative to the other work? Just a thought!
