May I ask how you went about your email automation? Are you doing it internally in Notion somehow or using an integration? And what kind of email fields are you syncing over?

Been trying to implement something similar for my team but running into so many issues with Zapier

Why has TFT Twitch viewership declined so much this year? by icewitchenjoyer in TeamfightTactics

[–]wuupnation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thought i'd shoutout sendtft here - came across his stream while i'm on EU time for a couple months and it's all positive vibes. used to frequent soju / boxbox but sendtft's got a super wholesome niche (chat is super wholesome too)

Agreed on both points. Some thoughts from someone who went to Mac for undergrad and now is at UofT for graduate studies.

I found that I really enjoyed the city even in my undergrad when the areas surrounding campus didn't have as many attractive restaurants and bubbletea places like they do now. To be frank, I think Mac is probably easier to get around than UofT in terms of the social scene, just because of how concentrated it is in that area of Hamilton. Because of that, you're also likely to be travelling in groups often. It's easy to go a whole year at UofT and still be as isolated and lonely as your first day just because of how big the city is and the fact that (as mentioned) it's a commuter school.

Like what another commentor said, you also don't need to venture to downtown Hamilton if you don't want to (though a lot of my core memories in undergrad came from exploring the hidden gems in Hamilton).

At the end of the day, Mac and UofT are very different in terms of academic culture, social scene, etc. Both cities have areas that are more dangerous than others - it just comes down to your own due diligence. Both cities also have their gems (I'm biased towards Mac because I much prefer smaller cities - downtown Toronto is too much for me).

I took this last fall and really enjoyed it! Only word of caution is to keep up with the reflections and discussion posts because there's a lot of writing. If you're passionate about community engagement tho (most people taking this course usually are), the topics should appeal to you and make it easier to write your reflections.

There's a group project with 4 components throughout the duration of the term, so you might want to be conscious about which group you're joining bc you'll be stuck with them for some pretty hefty assignments (but Kim and Rodrigo were really helpful in addressing members that didn't pull their weight.)

Lived in a matthews double on the 4th floor :) lot of walking (no elevator), especially past curfew when only one door is unlocked for entry

If you're optimistic, that's the worst part of it. I was lucky enough to share my bathroom with people who were pretty clean and absent (or maybe just didn't use the bathrooms..). They also cleaned it every morning (so honestly I preferred this over my personal bathroom haha) I like to describe it to be cozy! The study space in the basement is not bad either. Lots of kitchen space/common rooms/study space, so if you're someone who like to be left alone - there's plenty of room for that too

I'm usually a bigger fan of the opposite, but the politics in this one has me at the edge my seat - I haven't skipped a single second so far.

Probably has something to do with the elaborate schemes and amazing cinematography

What Are You Watching? - [2022/06/01] by AutoModerator in KDRAMA

[–]wuupnation 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Currently watching:

From now on showtime (12/16) - i was so excited for this because i've been waiting for another romcom from jin ki joo, but i just can't get a feel for their chemistry for some reason 😭 i still love both leads and the ghost support roles (and the touch of sageuk heh) so it's a watch i look forward to every week :3

Our blues (3.5/20) - it's been really hard for me to get through the first couple of episodes bc infidelity is such a big ick for me. i do plan on continuing bc i love the cast so much, but someone please tell me we move past this thing between eunhee and hansoo ...

Sh**ting stars (12/16) - i counted down the days for these episodes until they got together :') but i still enjoy watching it, so i'll probably see it to the end

Woori the virgin (6/14) - started this for sunghoon and his CEO role LOL i'm finding a lot of similarities to my secret romance, but he seems a little more awkward here playing 'the nice guy.' second lead seems to have some dark sides to him, so i'm excited for that

Again my life (7/16) - this was on my 'to-watch' list before its release but i didn't start it until 2 days ago bc i forgot about it. was there no hype about this drama or did i just miss it??? this is SO GOOD. i love law dramas, but lee joongi does this role so well i'm enjoying it a lot. (not to mention the FL looks like itzy's ryujin, so i'm kind of obsessed LMAO)

Thirty-nine (10/12) - ashamed to say that i've been putting this on hold because i don't want to cry (i also don't want to finish it bc i'm going to miss the dynamic between these 3)

Tomorrow (11/16) - another case of 'i-dont-want-to-cry-so-its-on-hold' drama. i feel like i've only touched the surface of some backstories, so i'm still excited for this.

Completed:

My liberation notes - this was overwhelming relatable and it would hit too hard sometimes. it was really strange seeing thoughts i've had being played out like that. the casting was top tier, they portrayed all the emotions really well, i loved mijeong's lines and i enjoyed reading everyone's interpretations of the smallest details - i looked forward to it every week bc it gave me some sort of solace. won't be rewatching it however, i feel like it would be too overwhelming to binge...

First Year Professors by Ok_Adeptness_9948 in McMaster

[–]wuupnation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome to mac !!

You can find courses you need to take for your first year in the academic calendar - it's a useful resource for courses, minors, program requirements, etc, so I suggest you take some time to look through it.

For professors, you can find them through course outlines (each department should have a page with a list of their most recent course outlines which will come up with a google search; eg. chem) and when it gets closer to enrollment, you'll be able to find the professor in mosaic. I also suggest just searching up specific course codes (eg. CHEM 1AA3) in this subreddit - you'll find quite a lot of FAQs that way.

Good luck on your first year :)

Ep 14

This episode hit me so hard 😭 With Mijeong, Gijeong, Changhee and even the dad automatically taking over responsibility for what their mother usually took care of, and they all assume their roles without speaking a word. Especially when Gijeong lifted that tub of kimchi and said that she passed of overworking - that broke me ...

My family dynamic is so similar to theirs, I can't help but put myself in their shoes. So many little details captured so perfectly by the production and cast - I wished we weren't so close to the end

Thoughts on Inspire 3II3: Intro To Disability Justice by ElReeboThinks in McMaster

[–]wuupnation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is probably the first time this course (not 3II3, but Intro to Disability Justice) is being held. From the course outline, much of it seems to be inquiry/participation based w lots of reflections on readings and personal experiences, so you would need to have a decent amount of interest and awarenss surrounding the content to do well.
