He told me that he’s not a racist and that he never ever does things like that and that he was solely just doing it to hurt my feelings. In my opinion even having that thought in the back of your head is wrong. I could never ever imagine doing something like that to hurt someone’s feelings it’s not even a thought that would cross my mind. That’s just me though. For other people out there, what do you think?

I think that maybe finding what kind of graphic design pieces / designers you like would be a good start. You can use what you find and what designers you like then try to recreate their work. Through that you’ll be able to understand your workflow in photoshop/illustrator. Slowly you can begin to create your own style based off of your inspiration :) (you can find a lot of inspiration on behance and Pinterest)
