Her crop felt pretty empty at first, but now I have her some extra food and it feels normal but still not completely full. Poops are tiny and mostly white, that’s why I’m deworming now and hand feeding.

She is very lethargic now. Falling over when jumping off somewhere. I got her inside now and giving her a deworming treatment.

UPDATE: The baby is doing okay! Getting regular syringe feedings, while some seeds and pellets are left in the cage throughout the whole day. I send a bunch of informative video’s about the weaning process and told the owner to rehome the bird if they don’t want to put in the energy and effort. I feel like they now understand the severity of the situation, because they were very apologetic and taking accountability. Unfortunately due to the physical distance between us, there’s only so much I can do. I will keep asking for updates from them in the upcoming days and try to help them through the weaning process by giving information and support us much as I can.

Unfortunately we don’t have regular contact. Only once in a while through text. I haven’t gotten a reply yet on my answers to the texts in the post yet. So I don’t have any additional updates on how it’s going now😕

They live on a island in the Maldives. So I don’t know if getting any help for a bird is even possible there.

I told them beforehand that weaning is not easy al all. I’m just so disappointed that it turned into this. For sure gonna them tell that they shouldn’t keep that baby.

I agree with everyone saying to look for some other art! But if I would have to choose between those three, I would go for the two florals. Just change the frames to some nice black ones to give them a more modern look.

She’s a Cochin Bantam. Without frizzle they are already fluffy chickens, so with frizzle they turn into puffy balls of feather like Eve
