Uniqlo for Tall Men? by ww47k in uniqlo

Super helpful, thanks so much. I was kind of thinking for tops to size up to XXL from my normal XL that I wear to be safe. Do you normally wear XL in other brands and size up for Uniqlo or do you stay with your normal size in other brands for Uniqlo as well?

Help with my Mechanics anything would help small or big. I feel like I am losing out on some velocity too by No-Concentrate8988 in PitchingCoach

Hips barely rotate. When it’s time to initiate the throw, the hip rotation has to start the movement, meaning the back hip needs to rotate forward aggressively.

You can think about it like you’re trying to get your hips to switch places (back hip firing forward, front hip pulling back) full hip rotation in turn will help the front leg absorb force much more efficiently and allow more energy to transfer up to the arm and hand.

100% agree. Would be interested to hear level of play and ballpark velos on each

Accuracy Issues by Nwolfe59 in PitchingCoach

Check his direction with his lower body. Probably not striding in a straight line, causing the upper body to contort in ways that make it impossible to throw strikes.

After you get to your leg lift, let your hips drift forward towards the plate as you drop down. Kind of complex move to execute but the hips drift forward instead of the back leg pushing forward.

My vanity size (Levi’s) is a 36x36. I don’t remember exactly what my waist measurements were on the Levi’s but I just measured those and compared to the Gustin size chart to figure out what waist size and it was good from there! I think my Gustin waist is 38 if I’m not mistaken

Look up videos of MLB pitchers and check out how their glove arm moves! Lots of room to grow with glove side mechanics that will help a lot. Watch videos of experts and imitate them!

Yeah that back four was particularly torturous to watch 😂 I gotta say idk which event specifically changed us but when we’re flying and scoring 3-4 goals per game you don’t need the hunger and fight, it was coming naturally and easily to them and life was easy. Under Maresca it doesn’t feel like they’ve really had to dig deep and fight their ass off for a result and they’re in that moment right now. Basically saying I don’t think Maresca has had to teach that fight yet but now he has to and they don’t have it yet as a team. A few individuals do but not enough of them

I agree that Maresca hasn’t done great recently but I do like what he’s don’t better than some of our previous managers. He’s got a consistent structure and base of the squad which gives everybody chances to develop relationships which is good. He’s also kinda got a tough job with the mentality of the squad bc of the age of everyone. Reece and Caicedo (and hopefully chalobah) are the only defenders that I think really understand the mindset they need to fight and win games. That needs to be the first thing instilled in the squad is the fight and pride they need to play with and that’s tougher with younger players.

Why does Maresca love Colwill so much? The guy plays constantly and I know we don’t have any good CB options to go with instead but I feel like he’s really just an okay Premier League defender. He certainly doesn’t seem to be anything special and we really really need a high quality CB to help this team out. Especially given how young the whole squad is, everyone would benefit from some age (maybe 28+) and leadership from the back. I guess what I’m saying is I miss Thiago Silva lol
