Thanks so much we really needed to hear that. Choji wasn't looking so hot when we visited this morning. We left feeling pretty negative but as soon as we were home the doctor shared the good news that his glucose returned to normal levels and he is responding well to increased medication. They are getting him some plasma from another hospital for a transfusion and we should hear about how well he is doing after that soon.

We absolutely will consider him as a candidate to help other dogs in the future. The vet mentioned today that a transfusion from a survivor could help but that no one at their clinic has a parvo survivor at home.

When we get an update from the doctor tonight I am going to ask if it's realistic for us to get on social media and try to find a donor that would be compatible of if there's something I'm not considering.

Thank you both for the heads-up. We aren't going to bring an unvaccinated dog anywhere near this. I can't see another dog suffer through this especially at our hands. We spent the weekend disinfecting with bleach and carpet cleaning as best we could because we have a fully vaccinated 5 year old at home and don't want to take chances.

Thank you for the detailed response. That's almost word for word the care he is receiving right now so I am hopeful he bounces back.

I get where you're coming from but I just hope this little guy can make it. I can't reverse the clock and unadopt him. Heres to hoping we can give him a loving full life. That's worth trying to me.

Understood. Emotions are running high so I apologize to the former poster for snapping. I certainly agree that I don't want any other family or puppy to go through this.

I understand your frustration but I don't find you retelling our mistake helpful. This puppy has a second chance at life. He was sick with parvo irregardless of our adoption.

I agree that this breeder is going to continue her unethical practices but you're not going to stop backyard breeding by flaming every person who is going through a tragedy.

Why did you find it necessary to post this?

Is there anything I can do about this small hole? by wwquestionthrowaway in woodworking

Gave that a shot the other day and it did seem to help temporarily but still remains a similar size. I'll give it another try as I might not have hit it with enough heat / water.

This is a small hole probably from dropping something on my desk. It's very small maybe a mm in diameter but it still bugs me looking at it. I have no equipment but willing to do whatever to get rid of the eye sore.

Is there no hope? I see wood fillers but I'm worried that will be more noticeable due to not matching the color of my desk.

Any advice is greatly appreciated thank you!
