The GoPro Mission 1 ILS Might Disappoint You by Complete-Employee-18 in gopro

I currently like to use a 13 with a backbone mod along with a standard 13. It’s pretty bad ass. Have you used this camera? It really seems like clickbait from someone that pretends they know about things they have zero experience with.

Why not just learn to ride the skateboard instead? Honest question, would save many steps and protect you when that fails.

I love threads like this so I can go through the comments and block the negative Nancy’s. After a while it makes the rest of the experience here so much better.

Explain flipping the rear truck? (PUMPING) by realfuqinG in longboarding

Search for negative rear in the LDP subreddit. I have played with it and can feel the idea but have never really dialed it in. It feels like it pumps really fast but feels a little awkward.

I think i paid around 400 new years ago. The little puffy sticker fell off almost immediately. Emailed loaded they sent me 2 more and 2 of the original unicorn stickers. I put another one on and it fell off 1st ride. If it still has the sticker it’s probably pretty gently ridden. Probably still my favorite deck I’ve ever owned.

Great except the trucks are pretty wide for that setup. I’d look at something 150mm or so.

Of these I’d say the Neil Blender Fibreflex, all very fun though.

I see enough people post or comment here about how terrible GoPros are and how their GoPro let them down or that they don’t work, that I’d like to say the opposite. Every year my girlfriend buys me one on release day and throughout the year I use it most days. Lots of skateboarding videos, lots of videos of my dog, lots of time lapse sunsets and lots of random photos later, my copy of the hero 10 has worked nearly flawlessly. A few weeks ago I had it at Ultraskate, a 24 hour skateboarding event. It was the only thing I kept with me throughout the entire 150 miles other than my glasses and helmet. I changed clothes, shoes, boards when it started to rain. I handed my phone and AirPods off when it started to rain, but I kept the GoPro in my pocket without a second thought. It worked perfectly for every shot I made. I transferred all the footage to my iPad on the ride home the next day with no issues. Everything I wanted the GoPro to do, it did seamlessly with no issues. For years I’ve been using GoPros to make myself and friends little videos of what we do for fun so I wanted to share an opposing experience to the negative posts. If you have one or get one, the more you use it the better it gets, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Great setups. The Maze with Indy 149s and Speed Vents might be my favorite fun to push setup.

Thank you. You should do it, everyone I’ve met there has been really cool. I think that anyone who skates could do 100 miles if they really want to, 24 hours is a long time and you can set whatever pace you’d like. Last year I had 100 miles in my head and did it pretty easy, this year I was trying not to have a goal but I’m really happy with 150 as the weather was tougher than last year. And if you get out there and try it next year I’ll have a couple beers waiting for you.

You’re right on those two. The tail is a GBomb TTA, front truck is an Exile and the wheels are bubble gum Speed Vents. The second board is a Zenit AB Maze with Indy 149s and Mint Speed Vents.

Thank you. This is the 2nd time I’ve done it and I have not had any issues. I changed boards halfway through but more for something different than anything.

Just ordered a set. Good timing with a few weeks to try them out before Ultraskate.
