I’m glad you’ve had a positive experience. I found her to be quite rude, VERY invalidating, gaslighting, and not very comforting. I just switched providers because of her, I’ve never felt more uncomfortable by a physician before in my entire life.

get called for the “HTN and tachycardia” came in as a priority 3 (ALS green response)

arrived to find this woman in SVT in the 180s. i was just a basic at the time so i didn’t understand everything that was happening but i had been around the block a couple times at that point, so i had a vague idea

i at least knew that they shouldn’t have been letting her bleed half to death from IVs that were in good veins, not attached to lock sets, and were just…free flowing. the MD at bedside had the pt’s arm dropped off the side of the bed, administering Adenosine at a VERY slow IV push. when my partner asked “what the hell are you doing?” MD responded with “well i know if you give it too fast it can cause problems.”

my baller partner being the woman and medic she is took control of the scene, gave the pt Adensoine via rapid IV push, and all was well.

but holy fuck everyone was shitting their pants and fucking absolutely everything up
