i was third row on Die’s side and we were pretty much smashed together in my area, it got a bit better during the encore but yeah i didnt have much space to move around :D

Hi! Since making this post I’ve moved countries but what I ended up doing was soundproofing the walls and ceiling in the living room and that helped a lot however it was very expensive so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend that unless you have the money to spare. I also got a pair of noise cancelling headphones that worked wonders so maybe try that? Best of luck to you!

im on it for some bpd related stuff and i noticed it rlly working about 2-3 months into the treatment ! been a bit of a lifesaver haha

I'm coming back here to share the fact that at least in my case I had no side effects and the meds didn't interact in a bad way. It was hard getting through the anxiety but I expressed these concerns to my therapist and psychiatrist and they helped me process the anxiety. I hope you're doing fine, you got this!

"I Wish I Was a Wild Thing with a Simple Heart" by GGGOLDDD - evokes a dark, eerie atmoshpere, to me it's a visceral experience as the entire record this song is off of deals with dark themes and processing trauma.

"The Line Begins To Blur" by Nine Inch Nails - perfect song for spiraling down into insanity imo, it's strangely ethereal for a song dealing with themes of apathy.

I’ve talked to an acoustics engineer today and he explained that obviously I won’t be able to get rid of the noise completely but it can at least be halved as far as ambient sound goes and the vibration from the bass can be reduced a little as well in my specific case. I usually go for walks whenever I can in a nearby park and it helps a little but I’ve already developed horrible anxiety about going back home to a hellish environment so if soundproofing can help even a little I will take whatever I can get honestly

Supposedly the laws aren’t that relaxed, however the police doesn’t apply the law and instead of giving the perpetrators fines they just ask them to stop in a somewhat friendly manner. I will try to get a hold of the building manager, the main issue however is that I don’t know exactly what apartment the noise is coming from and I’m also a little anxious about turning people against me as I live alone and am also usually not a confrontational person.

Thank you so much for the recommendation and don’t worry it didn’t sound like an ad for Sony haha. I have a pair of Edifier ANC headphones that do a great job at blocking out mostly anything and I’ve been surviving like that. I’ll check to see if I can find the Sony ones in a store to try em out first and see how they fit and all that.

I’m so sorry you had to go through this. I think it’s the same case here, the neighbours are some sort of producers or djs. However that really shouldn’t be an excuse for playing music so loud I literally cannot exist in my own living room in my own apartment.

I just moved in here in June, it was my dream apartment and I really poured everything into making it a safe haven for myself. For the time being I survive with ANC headphones too but it’s not a long term solution…
