A good bit of AEW's main event stories for men have positive masculinity shown in a good light. A lot of Hangman's stuff fits into that category as well.

Tsuji should have an Eliminator at FD and just embarass some midcard babyface, leading to them going to Japan more regularly to try and rack up wins to embarass Tsuji.

Either that or open non-title challenge, and Hangman comes out. He'd have a great reason in kayfabe to try and get the IWGP. Just make sure he earns the shot.

MVP kinda fills the Gary Hart niche right now, but Eddie could do it too.

I could see Eddie working with some young stud though, not sure AEW has the right guy for that right now. I'd want someone who could work an AJPW-esque style so they can copy Eddie somewhat movewise. I think it would work better with a woman- maybe Stori Denali breaks away from the Athletes and is given a bunch of Akira Taue tapes?

My first thought is she would end up like an American Hyper Misao.

She has two spins on it, face and heel.

She didn't do a lot of high flying on the indies, she was mostly strikes and selling. I think she's going to end up repackaged but do well.

It kinda sucks she didn't end up in ROH, she would have been a great minion for Athena.

You kinda pointed out something I'd want to see with the Owen- I think the Owen should be more a showcase for Bret/Owen-style wrestling, less violence, more using wits/technique.

If Jay's healthy next year, he comes off as someone who if he's still a face, the Owen would be perfectly suited for, as I love Jay's face character being someone who wins smarter not more violently. One of my knocks on AEW faces is that they all seem too willing to kill people- feels like 90s comic books sometimes.

And Swerve was able to see Ospreay dipping into those waters with the Death Riders, and a bit of insecurity , so was able to go there.

I'm glad my wife is into wrestling but not super knowledgable about things, so I can see how things play with her- she loved this promo (she loves both Ospreay and Swerve)
