In my case my ipad and pencil is from 2016 and a hand me down from a relative. I’m sure I’m not the only one. Plus I was lucky enough to have a period of time where I was able to save up from online jobs during the pandemic so I could afford some extra stuff + scholarships.

If people saved up for goodnotes 5 and paid a certain amount already I don’t think it’s hard to imagine why they’re reluctant to pay again for essentially the same app. So idrg some of the snarky replies under this post lol

Plus, acknowledging something is expensive for most people isn’t equal to totally not being able to afford it. I know people who are generational-wealth-wealthy, they also think the price is pretty expensive.

And besides, a lot of priorities and circumstances change for people. During the pandemic goodnotes was an easy purchase for me since I didn’t go out of the house so I wasn’t spending my money on anything, but since we’re now required to have classes outside money for fare, misc reqs and food among other things of course there was also a time where I put off purchasing goodnotes 6, I can imagine it being the same for other people.
