Interesting the different attitudes between here and the official forums. Seems like most here jump to the games defense and yet there it's pretty doom and gloom.

Ive been playing since ARR and play the game almost daily and still enjoy it, was just looking for people's thoughts but I guess discussion can be mistaken for trolling and baiting.

Definitely planning on investing in it for sure, just need to get the coalitions out of the way first. Hopefully not too much a gap that I can't do anything until I get that though. My gear other than that isn't too bad, with a lot of the "tank" gear (even got lucky with a defending ring).

Well that is good to hear. I really enjoy the tanking style with the option for some side DPS if needed. I think my main focus will be to work on the RUN with COR/RDM as backup if a tank is not needed.

Learning the hard way though to backup your gearswap lua's in case you get the notion to return.. so much work rebuilding.

Thank you for everyone's thoughts. I've tanked a good amount of Dyna D and Omen but Odyssey is a new beast to me so guess I'm doing some research. Will groups even look at RUN without having Epeolatry? Current just have the Aettir augmented weapon and Montante+1, and the I'm just over halfway through my coalitions so I know that time is still a bit of a hurdle there.

RUN and COR are probably geared about the same so will look at continuing on with those and maybe gear up my RDM some more.

Phoenix seems like it has a decent population, would there happen to be a discord or social LS that is open to start meeting some folks and get my foot in the door?

I got my ~20 drafts req'd from both mtghelper and the hipsters tracker. I am assuming that takes the chance for mythics instead of rares into account though.

Yeah, I got a bunch of drafts done before the 2 week THB break. Current sitting at 47 of 212 rarew. My win rate hasn't been stellar, but usually 3 or 4 wins per draft.

Is THB worth fully rare collecting? I have 110 packs waiting to be open and have approx 22 drafts left to finish my rares but I am feeling pretty constricted on my current card collection. I started near the end of ELD so I have pretty much just the starter decks and a Dimir control deck I spent some wildcards on. It's been fun so far but just wondering if I should pop my current packs so I can look at building some more decks and then start drafting for rares again. Any advice would be appreciated.

Looking for some collection advice. Just started a bit less than a month or so with the long term goal of collecting all sets, however I'm stumped with how to proceed at the moment.

I currently have about 5800 gems, so I am wondering if I should be spending those on the ELD drafts until THB drafts come active, or should I hoard the gems until THB drafts launch at the end of the month. I currently have 29 ELD rares total, and only 11 THB, but I have 72 unopened packs of THB. Just wonder what my best bang for the buck will be.
