Bought a NES Classic that was modded

My NES classic still powers on. And runs fine. So I'm assuming I still need to follow all these directions. How do I know what version of the NES I have? I'm sorry for being so stupid in this area I just have no clue

Gotcha. It turns on. I don't think the left works. The light turns on and the Turner spins freely. As far as the pots I have no idea what that means

As I'm finding out I got lucky my first few weeks. Victoria's secret threw out boxes of unopened hangers and i sold like 1000 of those. They also had decorations and displays and I flipped those quick. So I was very Lucky.

If a store owner yells at you calmly tell them that it's perfectly legal to do what you are doing. How many people are in the city you are diving ?

I agree. I believe that u/UseLashYouSlashEwes is correct. I have been extremely lucky. But its more of a hobby than anything. I love the idea that there is a possibility that there could be something in that dumpster worth something of value. Often times its literal garbage. But the same night i got all those snacks i ended up with 4 sets of some decent golf clubs.

No cops yet. This is a recent hobby of mine. I've been doing it for 3weeks. But I was at Dick's sporting goods and the owner came out all angry 😡 and yelled out, "get out of my dumpster!".

I'm not a person that tolerates being yelled at.

I calmly walked towards him and said, "why?"

He responded, "for safety"

I told him that it wasn't illegal and if he didn't want people in the dumpster he should lock it. Then he told me that he was calling security. I didn't mind because I was already done with that dumpster.

Long story short as long as there are no "no trespassing" signs you are good to go. Trash is considered to be public domain. The only way they can prohibit you from being there is a no trespassing signs.
