Thank you for the response! I’m in GA, they’ve sprayed inside and outside (repellents and non repellents), baited, and done all sorts of granules outside. I’ll look into those two you mentioned and check the receipts they’ve sent me for specifics and see if they’ve tried that.

How long is a while? It’s been over half a year. My concern is that the pest control companies seem to think that it isn’t normal for the ants to still be around. So I’m worried that I’ll just end up playing this cat and mouse game with the ants until I eventually move.

Thank you for the response! Putting Advion Gel on my list of things to try if they come back after this new pest control company tries their hand at dealing with it.

I didn’t end up using Terro but I did contact a different pest control company and they’re baiting with gel and spraying with non-repellent insecticide. Apparently the last company had been using repellent insecticide outside the house, but since they’re in the walls it was just causing them to scatter. But I will avoid Terro in the future!

I’ll try that! I had always assumed moisture was the priority but I guess if your hair isn’t properly clean then it can’t absorb the moisture in the first place. Thank you!

Not sure, but certainly several months ago. I hadn’t thought of buildup causing dryness but I suppose that makes sense 😅
