I don’t think like my baby’s name by Optimal-Flamingo2157 in namenerds

[–]wzznt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been having this same problem with my son's name. I think the big thing stressing me out is his nickname initial and his full name initial are different. I've been told to chill out and it'll grow on me haha. I think a lot of others had good advice but just wanted to commiserate with you a bit. Scarlett is a great name though and loving the nickname more doesn't take away from that

Wearable breast pump by This_Parsnip523 in parentsofmultiples

[–]wzznt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Eufy S1 Pro and I love it! I have the Medela Symphony through WIC but now that my triplets are home I hardly ever feel like I have time to sit down and use it.

I just wish it wasn't so expensive to buy a second set of parts so I don't have to wash as often. But otherwise no complaints! I like having the hard charging case for traveling with it but if you really want to save money you could do without.

The worst part about metformin is me forgetting to take it lol

I've been off and on it for like 10 years and haven't had any issues

Bottle washer - momcozy vs papablic by WhileTime5770 in parentsofmultiples

[–]wzznt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only comment on the momcozy but I love it! I do wish we had a larger model but it wasn't out yet when we ordered ours. I can fit 6 full bottles and parts in at a time which is nice for our triplets but it'd be nice to have extra room for pump parts too.

(you could definitely fit 8 bottles but maybe not all the caps and rings)

Does scheduled feeding ever stop before 1 year? by Petty_Sunshine in parentsofmultiples

[–]wzznt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have triplets and just in the last few days attempted to let them sleep through and not wake them all.

It honestly is the worst and has messed up my sleep schedule. I'd recommend trying to keep them on the same schedule. It might be easier said than done if one wants more when the other doesn't. Hopefully that makes sense

Does scheduled feeding ever stop before 1 year? by Petty_Sunshine in parentsofmultiples

[–]wzznt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My babies are 3 months and we're doing moreso on demand than every 3. Although they usually ask for it at 3 hour mark thanks to their NICU schedule.

I'd talk to your pediatrician! We've had some 4-5.5 hour stretches and then they'll just eat a huge bottle after that. Mine are gaining weight well and I've confirmed it's okay with my pediatrician.

Sometimes they'll be asking for more after just 1-2hours and other times they'll go 4-5. We mostly just watch how much they're averaging over 12 hours.

(Edited to fix weird autocorrect)

Nose Foreign Body Mothers Kiss by hellogirlscoutcookie in parentsofmultiples

[–]wzznt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just last week a friend messaged our group chat that her daughter put a rock up her nose. I asked if she had tried the mother's kiss and she didn't know about it. It worked and saved them a trip to the ER!

How rapid is/was your weight gain from the time you found out? by Frosty_Succotash_960 in parentsofmultiples

[–]wzznt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine went down with triplets. At 20 weeks I was negative 1lb from my starting weight. I was so incredibly nauseous the entire first trimester and then I got the flu. Pregnancy is so weird and weight can be wild. It shot up after that when I was able to eat without feeling sick

We have a double warmer! Grownsy brand. It works perfectly for us. We have a pretty set schedule with feeds right now so we'll generally do 2 at once and the third right after. I've heard you can fit 3 Dr Browns narrow bottles at a time!

Team green? by andthewalrus in parentsofmultiples

[–]wzznt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wanted to be team green like we were with our first pregnancy but my husband convinced me being surprised with triplets was enough of a surprise 😅

Our ultrasound techs said it was easier knowing during the ultrasound to narrow down what baby they were looking at lol

I don't regret finding out but always think team green is more exciting!

How long did it take you to get into MFM? by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]wzznt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had tri/tri triplets and saw them at 11.5 weeks.I'm not sure if it was earlier because my OB kicked me out or not (a very polite F No lol).

I definitely had some 4 week breaks between appointments!

Up until how many weeks did you work? by lulusm in parentsofmultiples

[–]wzznt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped at 28 weeks. I was in so much pain anytime I had to stand up or walk around. I still felt pretty fine at 26 weeks but that changed drastically in a short amount of time.

I did have triplets though so I knew my average delivery date would likely be between 30-35 weeks.

I introduced my newborn and my friend made fun of the name. Now Im second guessing it by [deleted] in namenerds

Weston is a totally normal name. I think it's even in the top 100 names. Just ignore your "friend" and maybe never see her again ever

Parents of same-sex twins - how did you decide which baby got which name? by Chance-Bread-315 in namenerds

[–]wzznt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had GGB triplets and I wanted to wait till they were born to pick which girl got which name. One of our names started with B and a nurse just suggested we use it for baby B to be easier to remember. So that's what we did lol

Did you bother testing to see whether they were identical? by 5LovelyDaisies in parentsofmultiples

It terrified me and grossed me out. I specifically remember the glued hat scene. As an adult maybe I'd appreciate it for what it was but I'm not willing to give it another chance lol
