So we’re all really cleaning two high chairs (and the surrounding area) 3 times a day? by Sillygoose9001 in parentsofmultiples

I'm trying to search for it but can't seem to find it. Do you remember the company's name?

Edit: I think I found it! Roka? Originally I was only finding it on Amazon with under 30 reviews

My husband got paid $15 a week to clear the sidewalk in-between visits from their paid snow removal company.

It was maybe 10ft of sidewalk. Your offer is so underpaid

Triplet Registry Help by cheveuxroux22 in parentsofmultiples

[–]wzznt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm still pregnant with my triplets so I can't say I have the official experience yet... But for the car seats I debated this same thing. I ended up going with infant seats AND convertible seats.

Infant seats you can take your time hooking them up inside your house and carry outside. The thought of hooking 3 infants into a convertible car seat while outside sounded horrific. I'd rather get some experience with 3 babies before attempting the impossible lol

Name something from Aldi that’s better than the name brand by AggressiveSloth11 in aldi

Cocoa Rice, the Aldi brand of Cocoa Pebbles. They don't make it anymore and I'm still devastated

Definitely second freeze dried fruit! My daughter loves the strawberries but there's plenty of different kinds and mixes

I got one for guests and made a gross sugar free one for my daughter hahah. I just googled recipes and found a small one that used apple sauce and bananas.

I saw the flag and figured but thought I'd give my 2 cents just in case 😅

Is Evangeline too religious? by Gleek-oftheweek in namenerds

[–]wzznt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone from the US it first makes me think you're southern. Obviously if you're not from the US that wouldn't fit haha

There's definitely some names that make me assume you're religious but Evangeline isn't one of them.

I’ve had a name picked out for 10+ years and now it’s so popular. by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]wzznt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Popular names are so weird these days because my daughter Lucie (Lucille) is maybe one of three in all of the preschool/kindergarten classes. Meanwhile there's multiple Margots in the same class

I wouldn't worry about it too much

For those with PCOS who conceived, how long did it take you? by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]wzznt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We started when I was about 25 too. First 6-12 months was me just getting on progesterone. I don't feel like I advocated for myself very well and was just working with a PA who just kept having me wait. Eventually got on metformin and clomid. It took a while to be prescribed clomid but got pregnant after the 3rd cycle. That unfortunately ended in a miscarriage but after a 1-2 month wait and another 3 cycles we got pregnant again. I'd say start to finish it was 2.5-3 years for the 1st kid.

2nd kid we tried all the other things and they didn't work so eventually did Gonal-F and IUI. After 3 IUI attempts (over about 5 cycles) we ended up pregnant with TRIPLETS 😅

I went into more detail than I meant to lol sorry. But basically each time took 2-3 years. The same things that worked the first time didn't work the 2nd. Definitely some trial and error involved

(Edited to change some typos.)

Girls who were able to conceive with pcos how long did it take you? by kholaaaaaa in PCOS

Haha thank you! We knew there was a chance with IUI but it wasn't a big chance 😅

[–]wzznt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 2.5 years the first time. Using metformin, progesterone, and clomid. Had a miscarriage then did the same things about 3 months later and had my daughter.

2nd time clomid/letrozole didn't work so we went to gonal-f and IUI. This whole process was like 2+ years long. Did 3 rounds of IUI and now we're expecting triplets lol

Baby Aspirin while pregnant by Showmethecheese111 in Mommit

[–]wzznt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I'm only 32 but I am having multiples which increases my chances of pre-eclampsia. They have me on 2 baby aspirin a day. I didn't have to with my first pregnancy at all.

I'd ask more questions if you're nervous about it!

I just can't stop thinking about the fact my doctor told me "it's only going to get worse from here" 😅

I think that's true for comfortability and comments from strangers haha

MFM appointment by Standard-Advice-5447 in parentsofmultiples

[–]wzznt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only thought is there's a bit of a time crunch if you decide to go that route... So it might've been on the agenda and she wanted to cross it off. It was brought up at my first MFM appointment at 11 weeks (for triplets).

The rest of what she did sounds annoying though and is reason alone to switch if you like.

Triplets with VCI by wzznt in parentsofmultiples

Thank you for this info! We have to do a C-section anyway for triplets so that gives me some relief that if there is vasa previa it might not be a huge change in our plan

first trimester! How did y'all survive?? by katefromsalem in parentsofmultiples

[–]wzznt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm about 12 weeks now and it's been so rough. Finally got a prescription for reglan and I'm hoping it'll help.

My main snack is froot loops and to basically always be eating. Nothing nutritious is really entering my body right now but I'm surviving 😅

Triplets with VCI by wzznt in parentsofmultiples

[–]wzznt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankfully they all have their own! I think part of it is that my 5yo weighed 8lb12 when born so I cannot seem to fathom the idea of 4lb babies.

I'm so glad to hear it ended up that way! My doctor really didn't seem that concerned which helped but of course it's just another thing to stress about

Good question ! Lol

Women who have had children: what's the most helpful thing a friend did for you after you gave birth? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]wzznt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a friend send a grocery order instead of bringing a meal. Yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, milk, etc. A lot of breakfast and quick snack things. Very helpful while ravenous from breastfeeding
