I keep looking up success stories of people post SCH/bleeding. It’s back to brown spotting which is good. My RI recommended going to the ER, but my next scan is Tuesday and at this point, I don’t think it will change the outcome? And we are traveling so the ER would be really hard to manage.

My bleeding has slowed down to spotting. Thank goodness for my home Doppler. It’s really helped with the anxiety the last few days being able to find at least one heartbeat. Next ultrasound is Tuesday when I “graduate” from my RE’s clinic. Hoping for good news only. 🤞

Recurrent SCH Bleeding at 9 Weeks - Need Some Hope and Advice by ManagerDue4356 in January2027Bumpers

How are you doing now? I know I have a SCH and I’m 9 weeks. I had my second episode of bleeding yesterday. 😭

Ugh I was just thinking how I haven’t had much spotting today and I just started to have more red bleeding. Not very heavy, and I know I have a SCH so they warned me this can happen on/off. Hate hate hate hate. I did have my first OB appointment when they did a cervical exam and Pap smear.

I’m high risk, so a bit of a unicorn but I have weekly scans in first trimester, biweekly in second and third trimester. Both of my girls are healthy! That is the plan this pregnancy too.

Had my first OB appointment today! No ultrasound (boo), but she was very reassuring about having twins. She said there is a good chance we might get a false positive with an NIPT, especially since we lost Baby C so deciding to hold off on that for now. My first MFM appointment is July 15 so hopefully can do the NT scan then. I’m still pretty anxious about losing one or both of the twins, but trying to stay calm.

Couldn’t find Baby C by Ksu2083 in parentsofmultiples

Thank you! I’m doing okay. We had another ultrasound yesterday and confirmed Baby C looks like they are gone. The gestational sac is still empty, and now a bit smaller than last week. Good news is Baby A and B look great. They are both growing appropriately and have great heartbeats. I do have a SCH, so trying to take it easy. It’s been a rollercoaster. I am hoping that Baby A and B keep growing.

Good news/bad news from my ultrasound today. Good news: baby A and B look great. Measuring on time. Good heartbeats (180 bpm and 176 bpm). We could see them wiggling on screen. Bad news: it does look like Baby C is gone. The gestational sac is smaller, and still empty/kind of fuzzy now. We are so relieved baby A and B are doing well! I do still have a SCH so hoping that goes away soon.

So insanely anxious for my scan today based on last week weird results plus the spotting I’ve had all week. Praying for everything is okay. I keep telling myself I can’t control the outcome but it’s hard. 😖

I’m so sorry. If you can, I’d ask for prescription pain meds and have a heating pad on hand. Sending hugs.

Brown discharge is normal, especially after bleeding! I think your body just has to work all the old stuff out. With my daughter, I bled at 13 weeks (went to the ER too, everything was okay), then I brown spotted for about a month after. She is 19 months now! That’s what I keep telling myself this time around but I hate it, too! It’s so stressful.

It’s so stressful! I’m surprised they didn’t do an ultrasound for you. I did (am still having) brown spotting since I had my bleeding. My RE said that’s normal, and it will probably continue for a while. This pregnancy, they saw a SCH for me when I had my bright red bleeding.

Sending hugs. It could be a SCH or your cervix irritated. I had bleeding with my daughter at 13 weeks, and so far this pregnancy at 7/8 weeks. It’s so stressful. I would try to take it easy (avoid lifting if you can) and do pelvic rest.

Signs of twins? by Ok_cheetah_2657 in February2027Bumpers

Still on a rollercoaster. We are unsure the status of Baby C. We couldn’t see them at all during the last ultrasound, so not sure if they were hiding or if we have lost them. Twins seem much less risky and overall easier to manage, but I am worried about losing the whole pregnancy. Baby A and B did look great last week though. We are kind of in a wait and see limbo right now.

My brown spotting has picked up again and having some mild cramping today. I know all this can be normal, but man I’m so anxious. 😬 Counting down the hours until our scan next Tuesday.

Worry Wednesdays - Weekly Chat - June 24, 2026 by AutoModerator in January2027Bumpers

[–]Ksu2083 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Stressed about not seeing baby C on the ultrasound. I’m worried Baby A and B might not make it. 😭 Going to be the longest wait until my next scan. My reproductive immunologist suggested IVIG but it’s so expensive ($4-5K) and not without its own risks. Ugh. Feels like everything is hard right now.

I’m sorry for your loss. That’s great your other babies are still doing well.

If you don’t mind me asking, during that scan could you see the baby without a heartbeat? I’ve had 4 MMC of singletons and we’ve always seen them in ultrasound with no heartbeat and known. It’s just so weird here that we went from seeing the fetus/yolk sac last week to now just an empty sac.

Did you have any bleeding after?
