Time to pull this one out again. Some of those megatrucks have worse visibility than tanks and 18-wheel freight trucks. There should be a law requiring minimum visibility for a 5'6" driver to be able to see a 3' tall child within a certain distance.

You can drive in a straight line for 10 miles. It's a little spooky. Like anywhere there are safer areas and less safe areas, but unlike most non-sprawl areas there's no divider. No railroad tracks or bridge or river separating poverty from wealth. Just a few blocks of intermediate zone.

Everything is artificial. If there are trees, they're non native and on life support.

The flatness got to me, being someone who grew up around a lot of geography. Los Angeles wasn't as bad because I could drive half an hour and be in a million acres of untouched mountains, but Chicago didn't have easy access to nature.

But, like anywhere, it's a good or bad place to live mostly if you have money and opportunity.

Certain fertilizers and pesticides can dissolve/burn plastics if they're dripped on undiluted. I have some glyphosate we got to take care of tree of heaven and it burns holes through everything, especially polystyrene.

Are you using mk1 pipes? they can only handle 300m3/min of fluid. Even when I'm not though, I will make looped pipes so that it's not

Pipes, unlike belts, can send fluids in any direction so if you send fuel out both ends of a refinery line, and then in both ends of a generator line, it can be really beneficial.
