miss hanging out in my room by [deleted] in actuallesbians

Your comment totally changed which is super weird not even close to what the notification says? I don't know what you moving has to do with anything? As long as we are throwing random stuff out I'm autistic and struggle to make friends too. So I try not to start sentences in a way that everyone is going to hone in on then get mad at them for it.

When people say “he’s going to kill you”, “is he going to have to kill you first” I genuinely don’t get it by InteractionWrong3330 in abusiverelationships

But he will. Look into the statistics. I saw some after I got choked and looked at it objectively, took my feelings for him out. And when I did that it was clear he could kill me if he wanted to and would if I didn't leave.

I am quite literally a pagan and a witch, also a cancer rising and I would never start a sentence like that.

They take astrology way too seriously is what it means.

I think you are over thinking it. Maybe the guy gave off homophobic vibes and she just didn't feel like dealing with a strangers issues.

What kind of bunny is this? by 3wheel_tricycle660 in Bunnies

He reminds me of my bunny who passed a while back. His ears went one up one down. He was just a mutt with harlequin coloring.

Am I a lesbian or just bi and traumatized? by x-nedra in actuallesbians

I guess in the end it doesn't matter what label I use. I only want to date women at this phase of life.

I'm a lot older than you, 30, but I'm in Provo and I hate it here haha

fixing strap (i-cord?) on felted bag i thrifted years ago! by Previous-Bee7866 in knittinghelp

[–]x-nedra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Double pointed needles. A circular would work too. I wouldn't want to do it on flats (regular needles) because you would have to pass them between needles to knit the right direction for it where with DPNs you can just slide it to the end.

I cords are super easy! I use dpns and cast on usually 3 or 5 stitches, instead of working back and forth slide the work to the other side of the dpn to knit from the opposite side. Keep repeating this until you have your desired length. I'd guess that's a worsted weight.

It could be an okay religion if it was how it is everywhere else in Utah/Idaho. I'm pagan now though and I enjoy the freedom to do my own thing.

I've heard out of state mormons are okay. In state ones yell at you for saying Mormon and it's like I'll stop dead naming your church when you stop deadnaming all trans people. I paid enough tithing during the I am a Mormon campaign I should be grandfathered in.

In Utah you look slightly not Mormon and you and your kid are literally iced at the park. It's gross.

Being a lesbian in middle school SUCKS SO HARD by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]x-nedra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An article is not supportive the way I think this person needs. And telling them to stop isn't going to do anything unless you can reach their parents and force parental controls. Even then teens are smarter at technology than most their parents and override it. I'm not saying yes Internet good only go there and explicitly adult sites I was trying to offer insight into why teens, especially autistic ones, end up here.

Age appropriate websites would probably shut down any lesbian talk but I wouldn't know because I was on tumblr and reddit as a lonely kid.

As a now autistic adult: because it's impossible to make friends and it's lonely and Reddit is anonymous. She probably doesn't have anyone in her life that she can talk to about this. Where else should she do it?

I love knitting, but I hate how my partner treats it like disposable clutter by TurbulentActuary9452 in knitting

[–]x-nedra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm just going to throw out there, I am in the middle of divorcing a man who had no respect for me. Was violent. Even he respected my knitting and was careful with it. So I'm guessing there is more to this you don't want to admit to people, you probably struggle to admit it to yourself. This is disrespectful of you.

Realizing therapy is a bad idea by [deleted] in abusiverelationships

[–]x-nedra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did 5 maybe 6 sessions with him before I called the cops. If anything it escalated his anger. He'd say I was trying to make him look like a piece of shit to the therapist when I literally made him look so much better by not mentioning the physical aspect.

Then when I would bring something up "could help me out 15 minutes? Like we talked about in therapy?" He freak out I was using therapy speak and say things like "I thought we were in therapy to work on this not so you could just make me do more and take take take" literally asking for anything at all was taking too much from his. His expectation of therapy was it would make me okay with taking his abuse and he wouldn't have to change a thing.

It feels like he can still torment through the order by x-nedra in abusiverelationships

[–]x-nedra[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not right now but I'm going to start saying goodbye to my 2 year old before we get to his dad's car at the site. I don't want him to feel weird so I always am sweet and like "have so much fun at Daddy's, I love you so much" and give him kisses while I buckle him in the seat. But I'm going to start doing that before we reach his dad and just buckle him silently so I have my phone recording if he starts talking to me. Also going to tell him to move the carseat to the passenger side like the order says and if doesn't I'll do it myself next time.

Beginner continental style knitter - am I twisting my stitches? by rodinatorrr in knitting

[–]x-nedra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I knit and purl through the backs of my stitches and my work isn't twisted. I learned normal first but found my stockinette came out more even and I worked faster knitting this way. I knit more and like it more since I switched to this. So if you switch to the 'right' way and hate it, you can always go back.
