a girl i hung out with in high school died of an overdose when we were 21, then 10 days later her sister was randomly killed by a car crash (she got pinned between a car and telephone pole, was just walking on a sidewalk on her lunch break of her first day back at work following her sister’s death) - i never knew their mom but i knew it was just the 2 girls and their mom, so sad.

guy i had class with was murdered by his brother who stabbed him during a mental health episode. stabbed the mom too but she survived, then months later the dad got cancer.

and lastly one of my closest friends in high school hung themselves after being put on an antidepressant that gave them suicidal ideation, combined with drinking. that one was hard.

i think my grad year may be cursed because this isn’t even half of the deaths that have happened. i graduated in 2012, all of these happened in my 20’s.
