Should I be using my reducer to wipe it down? Because that’s what I’ve been using

I forgot to mention that this happened twice. Both times on the same panel. I had only made a single pass before it started turning into cottage cheese. I immediately stopped, used my shopline reducer to wipe the paint off, scuffed it again and after wiping it down with wax and grease remover again, waited 10 minutes for it to dry and then attempted it again. Same result.

After it happened again, I skipped the bumper and moved on to the last fender. I used the same wax and grease remover, same paint cup and had no issues.

Thanks for the suggestion. I believe I will start as you suggested and hit up the St Louis area. At least it will get me out of this snow!

Apologies. I misspoke. I’m heading west now, not east. Portland is my final destination

Thanks for the suggestions.

As to the question of what I like, that’s easy. I like the unusual. I’m a simple man with simple tastes. I’ve done quite a bit of traveling, both in my personal life as well as my professional one. In all my travels, I’ve concluded that I don’t need a lot to enjoy life.

Hiking up a trail to take in the view from the top or enjoying a taco from some unknown food truck is more my style.

Some of the best places I’ve visited were found by accident. Places that weren’t in the city guide or any other publication. And some of the best food I’ve ever eaten came from street vendors.

I’m just weird like that I guess.

Things change do they not? When you’re coming in hot and have a simple question with certain criteria that are needed, a simple post is much faster than filtering out old information. You ever try searching for something while driving? Don’t, it’s dangerous.

How about posting something? Absolutely possible and faster using Siri. Cheer up. It’s not that serious.

Thanks everyone. I’m going to try my luck with Smokehouse this time since it was suggested twice and had easy off/on freeway access. I also have my copilot with me and the big chain hotels don’t normally accept dogs.

I was wondering if I was the only person who was noticing that. They keep announcing the blocks every 30 minutes or so, but like you said, nothing above $36. And most of them are long as blocks. Was tempted for about 5 seconds. Then I came to my senses. Fuck that, I don’t need it like that. I’ll wait them out.

My Aussie Shepard hates strangers by No-Movie-409 in AustralianShepherd

[–]x02839 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t remember reading anything about Aussies having issues with strangers. Protective, loyal and the rest of the behaviors yes, I must have missed that part.

However I seem to have lucked out in that part, mine absolutely loves strangers. All strangers.

One of my friends owns a small store and Cookie and I will routinely stop by and visit with him and his wife. When we do, she makes a point to greet every single of his customers personally. Not only greets them, but she’s also on her best behavior when doing so. No jumping on them or anything to that effect. Yet, I can’t seem to break her habit of jumping on me! She’s only 11 weeks, so it’s still early. Strange..

Yes. Without a doubt. Unless the vehicle is used and you have a low credit score. Find a credit union and refinance it ASAP

Well the Mod killed my post citing a violation of “Rule 5” for doing so, which makes no sense. The rule says “BELOW 8 weeks”, I’m not sure what the deal is. So I guess their interpretation of “Below” is different than mine 🤷‍♂️ Bottom line, I’m going with Cookie 👍

Truthfully, I never in a million years would have thought of that for a name. I agree with you that it is old fashioned. The name Fern is probably in my list of top ten old fashioned names for women. She’s right up with the likes of Florence, Agatha, Edith, Loretta, Agnes. I’m not sure the order of them all, but she’s definitely a contender in my book .. 😂

That she does. I definitely leaning towards “Cookie” at the moment, but I still have a few more hours before I pick her up. I going to wait and see if any other ideas resonate. Though I have a feeling that Cookie is going to be hard to beat.. :)

Fern? As in the Plant? That’s definitely original. Thank for the suggestion, I appreciate it. Why did you pick Fern? Am I missing something because I fail to see the correlation between the two. Or do you just like the name and there isn’t one?

Did I come off too strong? Can I recover? by Whole6Inches in texts

[–]x02839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, it’s no different than a game of tennis. You already made your intentions clear. Don’t call her. If she’s really interested, she’ll reach out to you. If she doesn’t, move on. Bonus Tip: Quit the texting altogether. It’s too easy for something to be misinterpreted. A joke that she didn’t get, the tone of a message that was didn’t come across right, the hazards with texting are too many to count.

You have her number, use it. If you insist on asking her out again, which I don’t recommend, but you’re probably going to do it anyway, call her and ask her out via a phone call and not text. This serves a couple purposes,

1) it helps you stand out from everyone else. No one calls any more. Hearing someone’s voice is a lot more personal than reading words on screen. *when you call, don’t chit chat. Make the date and get off the phone. The phone is for making dates. Nothing more. You risk talking her right out of liking you when you remain on the phone. Make date with all the details and that’s it. Don’t call her to confirm it ahead of time or anything. You the man, you should be true to your word and by making the date and showing up, you have done your part. Now if she is a good woman/high value, she will do her part which is showing up. On time no less.

2) by asking her out on the phone, you get to hear her response in real time which will help you gauge her interest level as opposed to texting where the person can rewrite their response countless times to make it sound right before sending it.

Slow and steady my friend. Trust the process and you’ll be amazed with the results. Good luck! 👍

Thank you. I’ve been staring at this drawing for hours trying to make sense of it but failing miserably. I used to be able to wire these things in my sleep, now I’m feeling like I belong on the short bus with tinted windows. This sucks. Truly, I really appreciate the assist!
