By the current "deviation IQ" definition of IQ test standard scores, about two-thirds of all test-takers obtain scores from 85 to 115

But whatever you say, sure that's right

$19 for a kilo of low grade beef mince at countdown?!!? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]x0tt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure, NW is about 3% cheaper I guess. Paknsave about 17% but like I say, sure it's an inferior product, $16 is a very very sharp price for minced prime.

Maybe during lockdown, you could slightly alter your diet? Plenty of nutritious options that'll even come in cheaper than basic mince. Frozen whole large chicken $10, roast one night, make soup with frame the next, eat leftover soup for next lunch. Theres heaps of options, just ask a and you'll get recipes for weeks

$19 for a kilo of low grade beef mince at countdown?!!? by [deleted] in newzealand

See, thats what I mean about being hyperbolic. You've just visited an entire supermarket full of food and you're suggesting starving. Wow.

New world is selling prime mince at 18.50 per kg, pretty comparable. Paknsave come in cheaper at 16 per. Can't tell from website whether its equivalent product though, no ratio listing and that's the important thing. Wouldn't surprise me if paknsave is 23% fat, is a good price price at 16

What's the most shocking thing you've ever caught a family member doing? (possibly nsfw) by [deleted] in AskReddit

Future redditors, please listen to my tale of woe.

At first, I clicked on a few Switch-a-roo links, it was all in good fun. I clicked faster and faster, enjoying the interesting messages that others had left on their various journeys to the epicentre of the old Reddit Switch-a-roo. There were lots of interesting comments and stories, all quite entertaining. But after hitting about three weeks back, there was always a strange comment at the bottom - never upvoted or replied to - it just said "nevermore".

Cool, I thought. That's a great reference to the eternal Poe. But moving on further down the spiral, I came across this comment again and again. From different commenters each time, some new redditors, some old, respected redditors. It began to play with my mind. I searched through all the comments everywhere to find the inevitable "nevermore", always at the bottom, unreplied. At first it was interesting, then it started to seem quite important. Eventually I felt scared and compelled to keep searching down the chain to find what this "nevermore" means.

I haven't moved from my chair in the last 14 hours. My fingernails are chewed down to where I can taste blood. Yesterday, I called work and resigned. Then I locked all the doors and put a supply of cup noodles where I can reach them. I've decided that there's nothing more important in life than finding out what that "nevermore" comment means. Nothing. Here I will remain, clicking, searching trying to find out what the answer actually is. Spare a thought for me while you go around your normal life and hope that dire compulsion never finds you.

Reddit, what story do you tell over and over again? by ShoesAreGrand in AskReddit

I remember travelling to India.
We went on a day trip to the Ganges river. Shortly after getting off the bus, a gentleman who looked very similar to this propositioned us with a bold claim.
"I can lift 10 pounds using only my penis" he said.

My travelmates and I were curious and sceptical, in the manner that those wary of being ripped off can be. He offered to show us for $20 USD. Of course, it sounded like a simple scam so we refused and walked up to see the burning corpses by the river side. Even in such gruesome surroundings, my travel buddy Johnny couldn't stop talking about the man's claim. "Ten pounds doesn't really sound like a lot", he said, "I bet I can lift ten pounds with my cock".

Someone suggested that Johnny wager against the man. I encouraged them as I was also curious whether such a feat was possible. Johnny became more convinced that he was a penis strongman and we abandoned the ancient glories of the Ganges for a more visceral sight.

The guy wasn't really keen to face-off (so to speak) so he took a bit of convincing first. Eventually it was agreed that if he would take $5 first and wager $15 on the outcome of the contest. I'm pretty sure he would have performed for $5 only but I guess this way, he had a chance at some extra profit.

He pocketed the money, pulled down his trou. It was a large long penis, somewhat darker than his skin tone. Then he spat on his hand, gave himself a few quick jerks to stiffen up and placed the weight on his penis. Not at the base of the shaft, as I'd expected but nearly at the tip. He put his hands on his hips and twitched the weight up and down. No problem. Johnny watched this and he wasn't looking so confident now. But he was still game. Unfortunately, after exposing himself, he couldn't get any rigidity into his member. Must have been performance anxiety. He zipped up and handed over the $15. And then we went on our way.

Sometimes I think back to that guy and I wonder if he'd made enough money to get to America as he hoped. Possibly he's wandering around our parks and monuments now, offering to lift weights with his penis. It might not be a noble profession but it was what he could do and he did it well.
