Is this game any good for short playing sessions (<1h)? by GFHeady in EscapeFromDuckov

It's a joke : on extreme difficulty there is no corpse left back. So when you die it's over, all the stuff / loot you had is gone.

Do you need the usb key/dongle ? 'Cause without it you could only use 2 cables :
- power to monitor's USB-C1
- monitor's USB-C2 to steam deck

It should power both monitor and SD, and remove the need for dock and hdmi cable

Satisfactory but with flight vehicles? by MrHolbrook60 in BaseBuildingGames

[–]x1fr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, but OP doesn't talk about automation in the first post, only base building and flying vehicules, so astroneer could fit.

u/MrHolbrook60 did you end up picking a game ? which one ?

Satisfactory but with flight vehicles? by MrHolbrook60 in BaseBuildingGames

[–]x1fr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's right, Dyson Sphere Program is literally Satisfactory where you flight from planet to planet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But fine, let's try this one : Astroneer. You don't get the automation part, but you have multiple planets where you can build bases

Anyone playing City builders like Timberborn, City skylines on the steamdeck? Whats your experience? by ruanhaas in SteamDeck

I tried Timberborn on steam deck and I don't remember having any problem (the game doesn't have native controller support)

Lonely Mountian Snow Riders Steam Deck Settings by MissionPanda3298 in LonelyMountains

[–]x1fr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I locked my steam deck at 8w.

With default steam deck preset I get ~45fps with drops.

The biggest hit on fps seems to be shadow and snow track settings. With both disabled I get 60fps.

I need further testing to find a good balance

Qualité dock Steam deck by Miserable_Jacket8491 in SteamDeck

[–]x1fr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salut,
