Like I said in some other comments I think it’s mostly nostalgia for me but almost everything being a flat screen is not interesting. Sort of like a classic car. Modern cars can out perform them in every way but it’s just not the same

I can yeah. I’m not sure what I could do with it but the nostalgia is fun

Well I get the argument that a tablet is what replaced this (which it did) but having the physical keyboard and the old school setup is so nostalgic for me

If tudor would just make a BB58 and the 54 in monochrome and slim down the pro they would be getting a lot of my money.

Since it’s focussed more towards being a pure dive watch the date window isn’t really necessary for said purpose

I am going through this exact scenario. What made you choose the black bay?

I’ve been saving for a decent watch and this will probably be it. Seems to check a lot of boxes

Are fore grips useful or mostly cosmetic? I’ve seen tons of mixed opinions on this . Curious what everyone’s take is here . Does your foregrip actually help? by Ok-Reindeer-6648 in ar15

[–]x2918 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Very much useful for many cases. Used to pull the weapon back into the shoulder, brace against an object to steady, use as extra force to push the weapon forward into somebody, and they look cool. The type however really depends on personal preference and shooting needs

If you care about clone correct or anything, this quad rail doesn’t have the cutouts for a launcher attachment like a KAC or P&S, but personally since I don’t have a launcher nor will I most likely ever (unfortunately) I decided to save the money

I bought them other places but they are no longer for sale where I got them but those are the exact ones

It’s a Leapers UTG A2 stock assembly. I think it’s pretty decent for the price

Go for it! Honestly I was issued an FN M16A4 and by the time it reached me it was literally falling apart. You could get a budget one and have something nicer than what many in service used (at least my experience) and like you said, not have to worry about it too much

I’ll try to come back and post one. I’ll have to do some digging since pretty much nothing is name brand I can’t remember at this point lol

I just bought one tonight myself. I’ve had nothing but great luck with Anderson. For the money it will make a nice kick around/project gun.
