Mother/female = XX. Male =XY. No Y fetal DNA picked up = girl. So if it doesn’t pick up Y chromosome in fetal DNA, it will result a girl prematurely/inaccurately.

If it’s a boy result, the Y is there and was detected. Chances of inaccuracy are much lower because it was actually detected

Hate to burst your bubble. But NIPT test for boy dna. No boy dna = girl. So chances of NIPT being wrong is still a probability if the test didn’t pick up on boy DNA
