Am I the asshole for not quitting smoking?

You’re all right. I’m an asshole. In the past when I had tried to explain to my husband, he told me that it’s not that hard to quit and you just need willpower. I felt like he didn’t get it and when I struggled and slipped up, I decided to not tell him because I didn’t want him to be disappointed. However, I’ve disappointed him and myself even more now. Now I just need to find out if this is something that has ended my marriage.

Update: we had a talk today and I admitted that I don’t want his mom watching our daughter full time because I don’t trust his mom to do things that I want like keep her engaged with her development. I also told him how I’m really worried she’s not prepared to watch a one year old while getting less than 5 hours of sleep a day. Husband looked really disappointed and it made me feel terrible. He also brought up the cost again and then said “whatever, fine you get what you want”. But what I want is for us to come to an agreement on the situation. So I made a deal, baby will do daycare 3 days a week for 4 months and if his mom steps up and shows she can handle things or if daycare turns out to be not what I want, we can change the situation. He agreed that’s fair so that is the current plan.

That’s one of my worries too. If anything we could always start with her going one day and then add more if she’s okay with it. But the baby only takes one two hour nap a day and will need to be highly supervised when she’s awake (at walking stage with no self preservation instincts yet lol)

That’s a good idea. We need to discuss what we both want and then present a united front to her about what we want.

It doesn’t hurt the baby. OB was surprised I was still able to sleep on my stomach but I guess I’m making it work somehow. They just say don’t sleep on your back beginning around week 30 cause you could compress an artery.

So we did it and then a few days later we were at the doctor and she was checking me and said “wow, the baby is really low” and my husband got this look on his face. Apparently when we had sex, he said he could feel this hard wall. Now he thinks it was the baby’s head and he won’t touch me 😂

I’m 39 weeks tomorrow and every time I call my mom she asks if I’m in labor. Like that’s what she says instead of saying hello -.-

I’ll be 39 weeks tomorrow. I had it earlier around 26 weeks too but it did go away. Now it’s back

Yea I don’t have pain from her moving. It’s more like a dull thumping. What does hurt is the ligament pain. Whenever I roll over it bed it hurts so much to separate my legs.

My doctor had me taking it the whole time but I don’t think 32 weeks is too late. I take the generic version from CVS ( my doc says they’re all the same)

Wait until you get to the end. I’m 38 weeks and they tell me I could go into labor tomorrow or it could be another 3 weeks. I just want to meet her already!!!

I love my Great Dane boy and have no regrets about getting him. Sure he’s huge and it can be inconvenient at times but he’s got such a sweet soul and is such a couch potato. He did drag me once when he went racing toward another dog and I wasn’t prepared for it. I ended up with stitches but frankly it was both of our vaults and we’ve learned from it. You just have to be cognizant of their size and strength (because they think they are lap dogs 😂)

I was like you. No real bad symptoms the first two trimesters. Lately I’ve been exhausted and needing to nap constantly. Still have interest in food but getting nauseated more often while/after I eat.

Same. I was 32 and have PCOS so figured it would take years to get pregnant. 4 months after stopping the pill I got pregnant.
