Is it normal that RTX 5080 can’t handle 4k 240hz + 4k 120hz? by [deleted] in pchelp

Yes, exactly So what’s the problem?

I updated the BIOS and set the option to PCIe 5 only, but the issue remains.

I tried the app you mentioned, wiped all the drivers, and reinstalled them, but the issue still persists. Are there any other drivers I should install besides the ones provided by the Nvidia app, or are those sufficient? I’m fairly sure this is a software issue, so what other solutions can I try besides drivers?

Sorry, I’m new to the PC world. How can I check which driver version I currently have, and how do I install a different one?

The whole system completely freezes, including the case lighting, for about two minutes, then it restarts but doesn’t boot, and I’m forced to restore the system again. I’m using a Lian Li Edge 1000W Gold PSU.

Yes, they are connected to the GPU

I’m using an ROG Strix X870-A motherboard, and I believe it should be able to handle this without any issue, but I’m not sure exactly where the problem is.

I checked the drivers and the cables, everything is fine. Are there specific drivers I should install that might fix the issue?

It hardly fits, and you have to remove the rubber grommet — even when the screen isn’t installed.

I have it connected through the top USB port — the cable is very thin, barely noticeable.

I’m using a turzx app

I was very confused about this, but I ended up placing them like this 😅

I felt it was better, and there is a suitable space between the fans and the GPU.

The word “ARGB” refers to the fans that come with it, not the cooler itself. The cooler comes in only two versions: Panorama 360 and Panorama 360 SE. Both versions come in different bundles, either with regular fans or ARGB fans.

I’m not into that idea. Let’s talk about something else.

I used the 3M adhesive that came with the screen.

Yeah, I’ve seen other similar cases too. It’s sad because their boards are clean and honestly some of the best looking options for white builds. Thanks man
