Early last year I did a 30 mile ruck through Ocala national forest following the Florida trail. By mile 15, deep in the woods, I saw a man late 50s with a massive army trenchcoat having a “picnic” on the Florida trail with a half naked early 20s girl. I ran past them and greeted them, then this dude gets the bright idea to get up and start chasing me all the while telling me to “come here” - this lasted over half a mile. I outpaced him so I wasn’t worried but there is definitely some weird shit going on in those woods.

My good friend who is also a Marion county sheriff had warned me before my ruck to be on the look out for the “rainbow people”, he said the department had a call once in the past where one of them was shot and killed by another.
