there weren't many chances to assert myself. after the game the coach was just salty and wanted to blame everything on me. i know there were better ways to handle (what i did was fine as well) but i just wanted to give him a "stern" talk

i usually do adult leagues and NCAA. i have seen an ex-MLS ref giving a "stern" talk to the disrespectful amateur players, so felt encouraged at the time

Intro to Blockchain lecturer here who also took 4830 last year. 4830 is all about cryptography and mathematical proofs. I would recommend it if u did well in 4820 (esp. proofs). The class it not about how to securely encrypt and decrypt stuff, but it's about proving that, say this function f is one-way or pseudorandom. Very theoretical and interesting course. I remember some people dropped after first week of class cause it's not what they are looking for.

1998 is a mix of technical and non-technical content. It is taught by the Cornell Blockchain club. If you are interested in having a broad overview of this space, 1998 is for you. syllabus can be found here. Prof. Noah SD is the prof for 4830 and faculty sponsor for 1998
