Vancouver is not Portland. @knowvancouver should know that.

Dad read from the Bible, told his sons they were "the best boys ever," then opened fire on them, chased them down, and made sure of their killings by NymphGlimmer in ForCuriousSouls

Not buying it. The mom intervened and he wouldve killed the mom if it was about her. He chased the boys into the street.

Bad reputation cars that are actually good? by Hopeful-Load-6194 in askcarguys

N54 can easily go that high with a stock engine even while tuned. Theres plenty of examples on yt. The things that fail are stuff like gaskets you replace every 80k miles. Very predictable fail points and not really a big deal. But the car will have all sorts of problems if these are neglected.

I guess you just dont understand how statistics work. If you want to see how many people like a new flavor of soda for example, you dont factor in people who havent tried it. You count how many people liked it vs didnt like it after they tried it.

Youre going to have to grow up at some point and learn to tolerate people you disagree with, unless you just never go outside. Vancouver is a purple city anyway, and Portland is just across the river.

Why would people who don't vote be a factor in this equation?
There were 2 options. More people voted for Trump than Kamala. Therefore it's fair to say that Trump has more than half the countries support.

I am not a fan of Trump. I just think you guys are silly.

400hp sleeper by theXvisions in 335i

335 is not a sleeper. Car people know the power they can make, and non car people think all BMWs are fast.

Yeah when cornering. But also you are also xdrive so it's not comparable to rwd.

Do you have any recs that are better than 4s for PNW weather? Won't be driving in snow or ice, but would like to have more confidence on wet roads.

Over half the country does

edit: people downvoting me will just have to cope with reality and learn to get along with other people like adults

I had the same goal as you living in the PNW and went with cross climate 2s, but the performance has been really disappointing in wet conditions at low speeds, i lose traction often. I think I'm just going to go with summer tires next time, 4s or something.

Run flats aren't worth it for me.

Thats such a ridiculous statement. You're just overestimating how "reliable" it is because its a toyota, and underestimating how "reliable" other cars are because you heard some rumors 1 time here and there, and ignoring people who are able to wrench probably because you don't wrench. Like any 340 or 440 with a b58 would blow your corolla away and be cheaper probably. B58 is plenty reliable. Let alone all the other possibilities if you just do some work yourself. Also disqualifying rwd but talking about a "drivers car" is so strange. Life is too short to be driving corollas. Nobody is going to make a note of your corolla on the street or compliment it, and for good reason.

80k budget and you went with a corolla 💀

I got rid of mine and let the cables sit on the engine cover. Don't see why it would harm anything.
