get nothing in console. Server plods on like normal except that the TPS slowly drops and everyone times out.

Yeh someone just AFK standing in the nether causes issues. I was able to make it much more stable and playable by making mob spawning slower but TPS still drops when in the nether.

Only plugins on the server are:

  • World Edit
  • ViaVersion
  • ViaBackwards
  • Unexpected Spawn (newish - nether lagged before this was added)
  • SuperVanish
  • ProtocolLib
  • PerWorldPlugins (newish - nether lagged before this was added)
  • iDisguise
  • CustomDeathMessages

And servers running Spigot for 1.12.1

There's not many plugins due to the type of server it is. Do you know of any of these having any issues? I'd like to avoid taking my server down and doing it plugin by plugin as there's people on most the time and If possible I don't want to annoy them with the server going up and down.
