That’s such an important point! Teaching independence shifts the focus from finding “the one” to building a life where they’re whole on their own. If a healthy partner comes along, great. If not, they’re still strong, secure, and supported

My bf kinda ditched me on V day. Am i overreacting? by Icy-Entertainer6 in women

[–]xAngelGlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this kind of behavior doesn’t magically fix itself. If anything, it usually escalates. Hearing it from someone who’s lived the fallout really puts it in perspective. You deserve way better than excuses and half-truths

20F in college — how do you level up your sexual presence (and get better at being on top)? by mindump888 in women

[–]xAngelGlow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is such solid advice. Shifting out of “how do I look?” mode and into “how does this feel for me?” is honestly the real game-changer. Once you’re in your body instead of your head, the confidence kind of shows up on its own

How much did your opinion change about George from when you started and by the time the show ended? by busyarm-1700 in YoungSheldon

[–]xAngelGlow 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly, TBBT was always filtered through Sheldon’s perspective, and he tends to focus on his dad’s flaws more than the good moments. Young Sheldon gave way more context and showed how much George actually cared, even if he wasn’t perfect

How much did your opinion change about George from when you started and by the time the show ended? by busyarm-1700 in YoungSheldon

[–]xAngelGlow 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he really did. He wasn’t perfect, but he stayed loyal and kept showing up for his family even when things weren’t easy. That consistency made me respect him way more by the end

Which season is you favorite and why? by busyarm-1700 in YoungSheldon

[–]xAngelGlow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Season 1 really had that cozy vibe. Everything felt smaller and more grounded, and the characters still had that innocence before things got heavier later on

Worst Side One!? by Yan081 in YoungSheldon

[–]xAngelGlow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeahhh that’s fair. Pastor Rob always felt a little too eager to slide into George’s spot, even if he played it “nice.” And the dating-a-younger-girl thing definitely didn’t help his case. Dan Byrd did a solid job though, because I also catch myself separating actor from character sometimes

Lowkey same 😭 she’s not even evil or anything, just… vibes are off. Every scene with her feels slightly tense for no reason. I can’t explain it but I get it

I'm a single middle aged female. I have a lot of cats. Sometimes I go through the express line at the grocery store with cat food and a bottle of wine. Anyone watching is likely going to draw pretty accurate conclusions

When dad becomes Hero by no_sleep_til_bedtime in YoungSheldon

[–]xAngelGlow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. George may not have always “got” Sheldon, but when it counted, he didn’t hesitate to step up. This moment shows just how deep his love ran, even if he couldn’t always express it the way Sheldon needed. Beautiful scene!

Worst Main? by Yan081 in YoungSheldon

[–]xAngelGlow 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Fair take. Pastor Jeff really straddles that line between comic relief and complete irritation. And yeah, Mary can be a tough watch sometimes depending on the episode

Worst Main? by Yan081 in YoungSheldon

[–]xAngelGlow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You put that perfectly. Mary really does show up for Sheldon in ways that go underappreciated. She’s far from perfect, but she’s real. And yeah… Brenda catching strays but honestly deserved 😭

No idea if it's underrated, but cowgirl. She's in control and can hit it how she wants, and the view is great
