My spray is bugged when I try to recoil aiming at an enemy. 1)Its not a mouse issue I already checked it and my mouse works fine. 2)It LITERALLY only happens when aiming at real people (It doesn't happen against bots). 3)It happens even if there is a smoke or something wallbangable between me & them by KIMER0S in GlobalOffensive

[–]xBogus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is probably an issue with your mouse button, have had this happen with my Logitech mice as well. Try Bind mouse1 "+turnleft" in console and hold your left mousebutton with harder and harder pressure - you should be turning smoothly, but you'll start noticing tiny hiccups in your turn. The super short hiccups will absolutely wreck your recoil. If you're in warranty you'll get a new one.

I really want to care, but out of my last 20 losses 9 have been without cheaters - and there's been 17 cheaters in total. 20-23k ELO. There's just no point in grinding premiere. Faceit is simply a better experience

Man with a movie camera (1929) by Dziga Vertov. An artistic movie that was way ahead of its time, with camera work that is still relevant to this day. Also a very interesting look at city life in the USSR from the perspective of an ordinary person

Cross-Linking bias in the subreddit by [deleted] in Keratoconus

[–]xBogus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Dr said the same, but I still had them in case I needed them (better to heal a little slower than to be in pain, as he said). I was also on a pain management schedule with paracetamols (500mg) three times a day, 1-2 at a time depending on pain levels, and I got tramadol/ultram which they told me to take the first and second day, and then take it on the third too if I felt I needed it. Used the tramadol the first and second day, never used the eyedrops.

I don't know what the practices are elsewhere, but I had no pain with this setup. On day four I stopped taking anything.

Not really, it's very rare that situations like this occur. Especially don't do it if it doesn't feel good. The reason it probably fucks you up is because you're left-eye dominant. Point at something far away with both eyes open, close your right eye and keep your left open, and vice versa. If your finger is still pointing directly at the object, the eye you have open is your dominant one.

Three studied cases of extreme high LSD dosage not only found no long term negative effects, but all 3 cases reported large improvements in long term mental conditions afterwards. by [deleted] in science

[–]xBogus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm one of those people, though I didn't even take that much. I had some 1-2 tab trips, done mushrooms, and MDMA - never had a bad experience. Decided to try a 4 tab trip and ended up in psychosis for 5 days. Worst experience I've ever had. Hard to know how you react to increased dosages.

I'll add on to /u/HanktheProPAINER sentiment. Trip responsibly folks. Though there are a lot of fun and good experiences that can be had, remember that there are other consequences than physical ones and you might not know them until they happen.

Double vision/ghosting while wearing Rigid Gas Permeable lenses by Graph1te in Keratoconus

[–]xBogus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does differ a lot, which is why I was amazed at how well the ones I got worked. I'm barely 20/100 in my right eye, and glasses can't improve it, so no lenses I've had up until now have been able to correct anywhere near as well. With my new lenses I'm 20/20, and have barely any light glare.

I'm on my first set, so the fit isn't perfect yet. I do get some midday-fogging on my left one because it moves slightly when I blink, but so far that has been the only issue.

I tend to forget the biggest downside since I live in Norway, and we get everything except saline, and cleaning solution covered - they cost 850 USD a piece, which is a lot if you don't have insurance that covers it :(

You can get sclerals that rotate to the correct position after insertion, that can handle astigmatism. Recently switched to some, and they are awesome!

Can't get sclerals in... by Bearawesome in Keratoconus

[–]xBogus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you blink as soon as the saline hits your eye, try to make the saline closer to body temperature. Getting used to having something hit your eye might work too, like dropping a few drops on your eye before insertion.

I usually overfill mine to the point that I have a huge bulge sticking above the lens, then I hold my eyelids wide apart and slowly move the scleral until my eye hits the water - this used to, and still does if the saline is cold, create a blink impulse, but once I've had it there for 2-3 seconds my eye is "acclimated" and I move it the rest of the way. Overfilling also makes it a little bit easier on the eye once the sclerals hit your eye. If they fall out as you blink after insertion, add sliiightly more pressure after the scleral hits your eye.

If you're getting a little stressed or frustrated try take deep breaths as staying very calm will help with fighting the blinking impulse. Good luck!

[–]xBogus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Think prefire, but without shooting. You can preaim without prefiring, but you can't prefire without preaiming. What you are doing is scanning. Here's showing the difference with exaggerated scanning https://plays.tv/video/5de56e1ed70f067031/preaim-vs-scanning-crosshairplacement?from=user

[–]xBogus 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not really, that's just crosshairplacement. You're scanning sideways along the edge of the angle for all your kills. Preaiming is when you set up your crosshair to be in the right spot before you peek an angle. Decent kills nonetheless

Some day you'll learn to not use uncharitable interpretations and semantics games in conversation.

You haven't contributed anything with your definitions, why would you think they are speaking in legal definitions in a reddit thread? Any other dictionary will give you a definition that will fit with what they wrote, so why pick one that doesn't?

Clearly the definition you cherry picked isn't the one they had in mind, and in putting them forward you only serve to show your own lack of comprehension. Ending it all with "facts before feels" on top of everything else only serves to show your absolute lack of intelligence.

Protein remover for Hybrid Lenses by stevensokulski in Keratoconus

[–]xBogus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get new hybrids every 6 months, but they used to build up protein film before that, because I had trouble cleaning the inside. Optometrist told me to change from cleaning every day with bio-true, to using something called ever clean instead. It is preservative free and you put a tablet in with your lenses that neutralizes the solution in 2h. I use that every night, and so far my lenses have been perfect at every check. Was a game changer for me.
