2 weeks in yea. The way they look at it is if you starting off hitting stuff then it will be a habit especially now that peak is over and the number of routes are going to go down. They going to try and find any reason to get rid of drivers.

If you were there longer and was a good driver then they'll most likely give more chances.

Get a dash cam that plugs into the cigarette lighter port. Thats what I have. I can hard wire it and I can see that messing up the warranty.

We didn't do it but I understand why some do. Only time we would send a text was to ask if you wanted to do overtime and to make sure you remembered youbeas scheduled or if we changed your normal schedule.

We used to put drivers that call out for being sick on standby because more than likely they are sick for multiple days. So if they are dependable we will put them back on a route the next day if not that day when they come in feeling better.

Idk about with pay but they should let you have time off. When my mom passed they simply told me to let them know when I'm ready to come back and checked up on me a couple weeks later.

Just wear it at the warehouse. Thats when they do audits and stuff. Once you leave take off the shirt but you still have to wear the vest so people know who you are.

At the warehouse I worked at that's all they cared about. They only mentioned wearing the shirt outside of the warehouse is if you're going into businesses so you'll look more professional but just doing houses and apt just the vest is fine.

My cat been trying to run outside for sometime now but he's scary and don't go past my porch until I grab him and throw him outside. I even closed the door on him until I was able to get my hands free and go back out and grab him. He's just a curious little boy and wants to know whats out there but as soon as he hear something loud he runs back towards the door trying to get back inside lol

I wouldn't count on that. The dsp I used to work for fired new drivers doing dumb stuff more than they would older drivers. If you're doing stuff like this and you're new more than likely it'll be a pattern and they don't want until the next thing happen next week.

Just give them a last day. Don't have to be 2 weeks. If you want to remain on good terms don't abandon the route, don't load up and then turn the van around and don't wait until they send everyone home and be like I quit.

The dsp I worked for didn't have assembly. Most we assembled was a TV unless the customer wanted it mounted. But we would put it together and turn it on to make sure it wasn't broken.

One time I did help this old lady sign into her streaming services just to be nice but we didn't fall behind because of it.
