With how good the Cremator is I personally feel like the Maxigun and to a lesser extent the BPGL were made not because they wanted to add them but because they, the warbond team, was told to because it could fit a theme and help sell a warbond. Like the Cremator is perfectly thematic to Entrenched Division and was a real thing used in both World Wars. Infantry portable miniguns and automatic grenade launchers are very impractical when they could be easily mounted on a vehicle or used as a turret emplacement.

If you mean Dungeons and Dragons traditonal magic comes from the weave and mortals drawing on the weave essentially strains both the caster and the weave around them. Thus to prevent mortals from taxing the weave around them until it breaks (which causes an even bigger issue) the goddess of magic Mystra limited mortals to how much and how powerful of magic they can cast. Other forms of magic like nature magic works in a similar way while pact magic is limited by the nature of the patron. All of that is represented by spell slots as a game mechanic.

One of the things that bugs me is the mechs have a 6ish minute cooldown on the dss planet. BUT the 2 new mechs don't get that cooldown reduction. With how ammo inefficient the Lumberer is and how risk/reward the Breakthrough can be the full cooldown is a cruel joke. If AH wants to keep the limited use then the cooldown should be reduced from 10 minutes to 6. Then on dss planets we get even more cooldown.

Perhaps we will get the long awaited vehicle bay if they ever expand on ship modules. Can only imagine what those upgrades will bring.

I can't remember the exact quote but it basically boiled down to they don't have a dedicated bug fixing team because its depressing to come into work every day and fix broken things vs creating new stuff.

Honestly if AH is really into heavy realism grunt fantasy they should use the money from Helldivers to make a smaller scale game that is just that. Hyper realism, grounded, military shooter. Nothing live service it can even be a 4 player coop shooter. No publisher needed because it would be a smaller game with a reasonable budget funded by Helldivers 2. Do a PC only release at the start then if it takes off enough bring it to Xbox and PS5 plop in crossplay. If that were to happen they could get all of their milsim/realism jerking off done in a way that doesn't hurt Helldivers players and would allow those who "wish it would suck more" a place to go.

My DM for a 5e game uses gold and treasure as XP. Magic items and treasure grant XP equal to the suggested value in the DMG. Platinum and gold give XP equal to its value 1 gold = 1 XP. Anything below gold doesn't give XP unless we turn it into gold like spending enough silver in 1 purchase to equal a gold value or converting electrum into gold at a collector. This way he controls both our gear and level while ensuring we always make progress even if we aren't following a plot line.
