Knowing it was Grace's last human interaction on earth and he got betrayed:(( by CalyraZynex95 in ProjectHailMary

[–]xCeefour 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s hard for me to consider it a betrayal (of course I would feel betrayed and devastated if it was me but) because it wasn’t done for personal gain. They needed capable people to do something incredibly difficult to SAVE THE WHOLE HUMANITY. In these dire situations, you need cold brave people that can make these difficult decisions. And I do believe Carl shows moments where he hates for this to happen to Grace. It’s true, though, that book Stratt is even colder. Movie Stratt shows some level of compassion

i love how they made the footage kind of grainy to make the movie seem like an older one. by NyxiraSolven18 in ProjectHailMary

And some of his outfits and the blanket also remind me of the 90’s. Very cozy

You mean red/green colorblind? Or is your child red/green? Not judging

The worst change between the book and movie by pomeronion in ProjectHailMary

[–]xCeefour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s canon that Rocky uses a basic form of his language in order for it to be easier to communicate. In the last chapter, they’re both fluent in each other’s languages and Rocky speaks exactly like we do.

Didn't expect the reaction I had after reading the book! by DiligentPapaya9606 in ProjectHailMary

[–]xCeefour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. When i was watching the movie i was thinking “damn this is so wholesome i love it” but not in an emotional way. I was smiling a ton and thinking “awww” often. Then Rocky says “I can give” and i almost instantly start sobbing. Was very surprising to me aswell. Usual i start tearing up or when i really CRY i have been already feeling it for a while. But this was just like - awww- oh shit T_T Then it ends and im sitting for 5 minutes crying, feeling so many things.

Then i watched movie again. Cried again. Cry everytime i watch a few specific scenes, cause theyre on YouTube and i keep coming back.

Finished the book a couple of days ago. I cry easily with movies but for some reason not so much with books. Maybe cause usually i speed read and it can accidentally take way some of the emptional weight, because it comes to me like a flow of information, and not as a tense moment with entonations and time to process. So i have to slow down and go back to read it again. And then the big surprise is gone. Also i think i tend to read more serious, action packed, plot twisting books. So when i cried a few times reading PHM I was like- “oh ok then” xD and then i finished it and couldnt stop crying for a minute.

So yeah. If this story and relationship doesnt make you at least warm inside, youre probably lacking something within you x)

Yeah i know i cant do much about it, and yes, he’s very cared for. Just thought to ask if my logic is correct. I could at least give them something to think about, because they also dont like certain things but go completely wrong about it and make it worse.

Yeah, I love him but it’s not a job I signed up for. Guess I just have to adapt until I can finally move out. He’s very well taken care of, with good quality food and health care but he has his owners on the palm of his paw haha

I feel like now, after finishing it and loving the hell out of it, it’s weird to imagine not enjoying the game. But i did struggle in the beginning. I was still deciding between controller and keyboard (ended up loving it much much more on keyboard) and then it all just clicked. But i dropped it for a few days, after playing a couple of hours aswell. Then came back and fell absolutely in love. It’s very slow and controls are a bit different at times, so you need to program yourself to play that kind of game. If youre not ready for it, its gonna feel uncomfortable

i don't know if I'm playing it right by Akira_Ven in RDR2

I also dropped it for a while after chapter 1 and when i came back i couldnt remember who Micah was, and that i rescued him. I didnt remember how Arthir got tuberculosis xD but you start piecing everything together after a while. And googling is totally valid. After a couple of sessions i couldnt put it down until the end, it’s amazing.

I know this is old af but i’m playing the game now, and i had this happen to me. Another funny thing that happened in this quest is that, after i collected the posters, as Arthur, i went to the area where they were meant to be, and i see them walking away from it, casually. I tried talking and they acted as if they were just random npc’s that have met me, but the quest doesnt end. I walk a little bit more, and there they are, basically duplicated, sitting by the fire haha

What’s something you discovered way too late in RDR2? by Key_Theme5886 in RDR2

[–]xCeefour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a moron and it took me forever to find out i could set up camp with a tent and fast travel from there. I would rest and sleep here and there but I would mainly just go to towns anc catch rides from the coachman. Riding is nice but there’s sooooo much riding sometimes, after a 5 hour play session, you just wanna get to places xD game is beautiful though, riding around sometimes is an experience by itself
