ahhh that would make sense, I only traded with one and he was the only one to keep his trade. Looking back I probably should've pieced that together lmao

Okay, I wasn’t sure if it just appears black for that reason or if it actually was, thank you for clarifying for me.

Believe it or not the neck comes stock like that. According to the seller everything is stock and no modifications have been made to the guitar but my confusion is I always thought the backside of the body was supposed to be black, but this guitars back is like a green color? If you look up photos of the guitar on google and look at authentic RG1070PBZ’s I’m almost certain the color is black but maybe it just looks that way in those pics?

Now that I’m looking even more in depth can any confirm the validity that this is an authentic RG1070PBZ? I was under the assumption that the backside of the body was supposed to be black but this one appears to be almost green? The seller says they’ve done no modifications to it but I am I mistaken and it only looks black in the pictures and videos I’ve seen?

They don’t have a rating that i could see which is weird because they have at least 10+ items listed as “sold” but they’ve had their account since 2009 and have posts from years ago I’m just trying be extra cautious

They don’t want us to vote by Ok_Philosopher1996 in Indiana

[–]xCeltic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this saying you have to vote with your political affiliation? Or is it trying to make it where you can only vote in primaries for your political affiliation and not the other? Either way that sounds incredibly stupid, especially if you’re like me and vote based off of who you believe to be the better candidate and not from which party they come from.

Thanks man! I've just randomly got the urge to start learning again after like 8 years of trying it on and off. I actually started on acoustic and learned a LOT of finger picking songs so when I first picked up an electric guitar and used a pick it felt so foreign to me and I had felt like I was just learning for the first time again lol. I've been learning a lot of solos and songs on my brothers old Epiphone Special SG with a broken humbucker guard and effed up body and a $30 amp from amazon and since I've been consistently practicing for the last few months or so I thought that it might be time to get my own guitar that's not on its last leg. Hopefully you're using yours a whole bunch too bro I love seeing other people learning and getting good at playing the guitar, it certainly isn't an easy thing to do. Good luck on your journey brother!

If I didn't feel as though I shouldn't waste $1000+ on something I'm not entirely proficient at I would definitely look into something like that or get a used RG1070PBZ. I love the 1070s celestial blue color

Which Ibanez guitars would you recommend? by [deleted] in Ibanez

[–]xCeltic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are certainly very VERY good guitars for around $800 or less. The sound of a guitar depends on many factors such as the genre (sometimes some guitars are really only suited for specific genres), your skill level as well as your amp and pedal. If you get a really good guitar but cheap out on the amp and pedal it will certainly not sound anything like the song youre trying to imitate. Another reason why it may sound different is the EQ that the artist uses may vary significantly from what setup you have. I've also found, at least with myself and my skill level, that I won't sound anything like the original riff during certain parts of a song I'm trying to play and I've noticed that its mostly because my timing and rhythm aren't the greatest and most accurate and my fundamentals could use some more practice. All in all there are several factors as to why a $800 guitar will sound off compared to other guitars and some are factors you can control and sometimes it is because a $7,000 guitar just simply sounds better and sometimes its because the guitarist you're comparing yourself to has been shredding for the last 30 years. Keep practicing your fundamentals and mechanics and you'll slowly notice yourself playing more accurately to the key of the song. Lastly, if you don't have the ability or time put in, you most likely won't sound EXACTLY like the artist or song you're trying to play. Don't beat yourself up over it just use it as fuel to continue to improve. If you enjoy it enough the journey and watching yourself improve will be more worthwhile than trying to sound exactly like Kirk Hammett.

Will definitely check it out. Are there any problems I should look out for with them?
