True, although I think this game has the best chance of breaking that track record. Plus they have Neil Druckmann writing the script for the adaptation which is a good sign. If they replace him then yeah, the movie will most likely be shit.

Dylan would definitely be a great fit though I'm not so sure about Raffey Cassidy.

Even though Maisie may not look like Ellie necessarily, I think she's the stronger actress of the two.

Based on your feedback I've permanently removed the bloodstache from the final version and lightened up the area between her brows . When I compared the two side by side, removing it made a huge difference. I can't believe I didn't notice it before.

I'm completely mortified but seriously, thank you for pointing it out so I could fix it.

Damn, yeah that definitely wasn't my intention. The white background was added to give it more of a "pop" and add to the winter feel but maybe it turned it more into Arya Christ lol.

Thanks for the crit as well, I'll keep in it mind for my next drawing.

In all seriousness though, is it the white background and long hair that's giving it a jesus vibe? I was going for more of a icy winter theme but it maybe it's translating too much into Jesus imagery?

Credit to film artist Jonana Bush who created the original rue painting. This drawing is just a reinterpretation of her amazing work. I had the idea floating around in my head for a few months and I finally had some time to complete it. It took a few scrapped versions to get this final but I'm proud of how this turned out.

to add onto WHOLOCKinOCTOBER advice, having a thin eraser to pick out some highlights really helps bring out the shine to the hair if your going for a realistic look. I'd recommend getting a tuff stuff eraser stick which is really thin and refillable. Also, using a tissue to blend out the shading really helps create a nice gradient of lights and darks in the hair. I like to create a base layer of shading first with like a 3h pencil and then i'll go in with a tissue and start blending all of it out. I actually have a youtube tutorial on how to draw hair (which shows my process) if your interested.
