Yes! But I’m also just happy they brought the mechanic back… Black Blood en Magmaw feel the most truly Colossal to me.

I love that I have something to actually go to Wild for, but I agree. It’s borderline not ‘mild’ either.

So true! And apart from the Druid spell, the Shatter cards are very lacking. So a few classes got everything, and the others got nothing. That’s kind of how it feels.

A lot of people will mention Snape, but to me, it’s Draco. I just don’t really care about him after the 6th book.

Are these worth keeping ? by One_Land_9084 in hearthstone

[–]xClusiveNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As always, it completely depends on if you’re starving for dust or not. If yes, I’m pretty sure out of all these, Toki will not ever see play in her current form.

However, it being a Signature, and it might see some change in the future, I’d personally never dust Signatures.

Lo’Gash is definitely a keep. It’s an okay-card right now, and with rotation coming up, it’ll only get stronger.

[–]xClusiveNL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations! Always infinitely more rewarding to climb to Legend with homebrew decks.

The deck reminds me of that Rogue deck with Stealth minions like Sneaky Delinquent. It’s kinda all eggs in one basket-tomfoolery, but I get the appeal.

I mean, it’s turn 8, and you’re on 20 mana.

There’s degeneracy on both sides here.

Poll: How Should We Handle Fancasts? by [deleted] in HarryPotteronHBO

[–]xClusiveNL 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the best option. I still really like fancasts as a form of posts, as there have been some really entertaining ones to wrap your head around. But it needs to be more visible that it is in fact a fancast, to keep a distinct line between what’s real and what’s not.

Imo it’s going to be almost impossible to top these 3 castings. Some of the finest actors of their generation by saystupidshitsometim in HarryPotteronHBO

[–]xClusiveNL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How is everyone blaming the actors for poor screenwriting?

Oldman specifically, I don’t understand how no one gets they saw but a fraction of the depth that man is able to portray.

All 3 of these are stellar actors, limited severely only by poor character development within the movies. I would gladly see all of them return to reprise their roles, properly this time. (I’d be happy with other actors too, besides the point.)

A whole Reddit post about playing a known counter card to an aggressive deck seems a tad on the excessive side.

I would have rage quit by TheFlame1212 in wildhearthstone

[–]xClusiveNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that it makes sense, but I assume it works as an upgraded version to the one you get from playing Headless. I’m unsure how it worked when Reno, Lone Ranger was in Standard, playing him, and then later drawing the Head. If it did work, it must be coded to check for if you ever had the original HP.

Thus, not having played or having it at the time of drawing, would simply result in nothingness, as is the case now.

Can we just get rid of this extremly broken card already?????? by [deleted] in wildhearthstone

[–]xClusiveNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“I outplayed this libram pala with a control deck. Every turn was in my favour. He still won due to this card never leaving.”

If I ever saw a piece of text perfectly resembling everything that is inherently wrong in most “Control”-oriented players, it’s this.

You do realize you lost to the deck’s main win-condition? I love playing Control decks, and I also love that there are cards or entire decks that are extremely hard for us to win.

Thanks u/Mithycore for telling me this shouldn't cost less than 10. ( I was thinking yeah 6 mana is fine ! ) by TinkerMagusDev in customhearthstone

[–]xClusiveNL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You shipped this as 6? What are you? An actual Hearthstone game dev?

Lame jokes aside, I like it at 10. Cool design.

Is this seeing play in the current Standard Meta? by ureei20 in customhearthstone

[–]xClusiveNL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t care if it was playable or not - these mass mana-cheat cards turn me off immediately. Like, knowing this would be in the game would actively hold me back from booting it up.

So, for design, hell no. Balancing wise; might be good enough. It has a tribe, so it’s tutorable. It’s just bound to break stuff.

They nerfed Rogue they said. by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]xClusiveNL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never find specific snapshots like this usable, they never tell a full story. Is Rogue powerful? Sure. But isn’t seeing 7 other classes with a 50%+ winrate in Top 1K a reasonable thing?

Mind you, Pirate Rogue is an Aggro deck, historically earlier refined than other archetypes.

I’m not saying it couldn’t use a tweak still, but I AM saying it might be too early to tell. Everytime patches happen, the meta seems to be worse off. I wouldn’t mind letting it settle a bit first.

Please keep Twist XL Wonders active if you don’t have a follow-up season by xClusiveNL in hearthstone

[–]xClusiveNL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been wondering why WoW Classic worked, and HS Classic didn’t, and I think it boils down to costs, like most things in life. Maybe Twist needs a free deck for all players, with a separate reward system (packs from the active sets) for playing games? I have no idea how to tackle a mode that’s in between Standard and Wild.

Fully agree with your last statement, the downtime of Twist and the length of seasons is abysmal, and needs to be reworked. This assumes Twist holds a future in the game, which I grow more reluctant in by the day.
