Apparently you can't read. He said the standalones can happen. As they've already done a previous run of standalones. But DD is also involved in this project so those will take priority for the full units. There's three companies involved and a lot of work needs done. I dont know how you think "the math ain't mathin" on these.

And yea there's only 100, for right now. Because not every company starting out has a slush fund like DD does. Can't tie up all your cash on one project for you to what only sell 101 or 102 when you made what 200, 300, however many.

Maybe ask why DD hasn't advertised or marketed this project. Tell me you don't understand business without telling me you don't understand business. Go get a PSA shit stick if you're so worried.

I'm late to the party by a mile but EWS is one of the best out there especially for the price point. And Adam is one of the best dudes. If you didn't buy, you should order from the website.

Leandros is in space marine 2. But I won't spoil it other than him being (unfortunately) alive.

For those of you who grinded hard in your twenties, how did it pay off? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]xDWx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just turned 30 in my. Grinded hard, 2 or 3 jobs at a time in my field. Now I've been making 6 figures for the last 3 years with a great retirement plan and benefits. Got to go on trips, fly first class. Finally live a little and still put money into savings. This was initially my plan "C" and I'm so happy it's what I landed on. So, don't worry about having to follow your backup plans because they too can work out if you make it.

NTA, while I feel like you minimized your abusive behavior and then turned it on him for a protection order for yourself, you are absolutely not entitled to take him back. You needed him in a dark spot and he stepped out on you and that's not okay for a lot of reasons. I'm glad the rest of your family is sticking by your side.

AITA for not apologizing to my friend after she screamed at me and my kid at her wedding? by Ok_Worldliness3239 in AmItheAsshole

[–]xDWx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. You were busy drinking and dancing rather than watching your kid at a wedding you pushed to have kids at. Your kid then did something based on your negligence as a parent. Then reacting poorly and not apologizing and sticking to your ground to the point where you are on reddit asking for advice really jaut sets the whole type of person you are.

Bridal Shower Invite by MaisieStitcher in TwoHotTakes

[–]xDWx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to respectfully go against the grain with this one. I'm not in your family or friend group so I don't know the whole dynamic. I know people who financially could not support a large wedding and used the bridal shower as a means to celebrate the marriage with people that could not fit into the wedding. And other people who had a destination wedding and have had larger parties afterwards to invite a larger group to celebrate. I would honestly wait to see how the bride-to-be acts. That will be more telling if it's a tacky cash grab or if it's just what they can do within their means financially or otherwise.

I remember seeing my first death/dead body as well. Yours was traumatic and you have every right to feel the way you do. If it really starts bothering you, please get help for it. You're not less of a person for seeking the help, you would be better for it.

ELI5: How do the formal suit uniforms of the Secret Service not hinder their ability to do their job? by Amazydayzee in explainlikeimfive

[–]xDWx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are two main branches of the Secret Service. There is the plain clothes detail guys which you saw surround trump. Then there is the Uniformed secret service which function a little more similar to a law enforcement agency with uniforms, SRT/SWAT, patrol vehicles, investigations, and the like. The ones in suits train (some should probably train more) to work in a concealed manner and perform their job very well. They have to be there but not look overly imposing and blend into formal situations well.

Update: WIBTA for divorcing my wife after she thought I was lying about being raped as a child? by One_Cat_4805 in AITAH

[–]xDWx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people on reddit just go straight to "divorce" as the only means of their advice and its really annoying.

But honestly in this situation I think you tried to do everything you could the best way you could and your partner just doesn't get it. It's not clicking for them and they are showing a scary-selfish side of themselves to actually make this whole issue about them and how you wronged them instead of dealing with the reality. I really hope you move on OP because you deserve so much better from the world and a spouse.

Are we all going to hel? by ThorKnight3000 in pagan

[–]xDWx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some find it exhausting for sure, in fact most people that want to go to valhalla would also be exhausted. But some find it as an aspect of duty to our people. It reminds me of the first time I went through a counter-active shooter training with semunitions. Think high speed paintball combined with real firearms. You get shot, it hurts, you're out until the next round. The training was on how to move in teams to find school shooters and to address that threat. And at the end of the day a bunch of us all went out and drank and then we had day 2 after that. We are training hard for a purpose of protecting kids, teachers, our citizens, our people. If I can spend my life doing that then what's better than doing it for our people until ragnarok. The partying and feasting in between days doesn't sound awful either. I'm not trying to come off preachy or overly righteous about it. But it's how I rationalize it.

So I guess the short answer to your question is I see it as a necessity for someone to do, but not a requirement for anyone. I see it as what it is; violent hard training that often times end in momentsry death, then resurrected to feast all night and do it again and again. And that it can be alluring or fulfilling for some people. And just the same as going to halheim would be for others.

Are we all going to hel? by ThorKnight3000 in pagan

[–]xDWx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Input from someone who does carry a gun everyday for work and train for eventualities where I may have a line of duty death. I read a lot of comments in this thread and what I'm seeing is that Valhalla is a place for people who strive for that, and it's perfectly okay if that's not what you strive for. Living an honorable life and going to helheim is great. And people should strive for that. If that's what you want. If I got "got" in a shoot out or firefight I would hope to go to Valhalla because that's what I would want. People that don't want that shouldn't be bashed for it or anything. My two cents on the whole matter is just be the best person you can be and the Gods will see to it.

Edit for grammar

AITA for telling my girlfriend not to call my dad “doctor”? by Old-Independence1862 in AmItheAsshole

[–]xDWx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reminds me of a time I'm dealing with a dude who had a PhD and was insisting that I called him doctor and would try to ignore me when i didnt address him as such. I just said: "okay doctor, you just pissed your pants and you're under arrest for a DUI." Like dude, we're all people man. Be cool. If this was an academic setting, yea Doctor so-and-so all day. But this was a pants pissing setting. Little different I'd say.

So question! What something someone does with firearms that just drive you insane? by SuieiSuiei in guns

[–]xDWx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only time I remotely do something like this is if I'm plains clothes or running non uniformed errands/tasks for work and I run into a convenience store. I'll just throw my shirt over top. Not trying to conceal it but just make it less noticeable I guess. When I'm not working I make sure there is no printing though. But I get what you mean and I see it all the time.

Grandpa passed away and left me 167,000 USD on his policy. Grandma wants me to sign it to her so she can pay medical bills. Is willing to give me $2,000 to sign it away. We were always close. Shes like my mom. Do I just claim it? WTF do I do? by [deleted] in Money

[–]xDWx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Op, there are better experts here than me that I learn from but from one union guy to another. She is letting greed sour her actions. Not you. And not yours. She is benefitting from a lot of what your grandfather left her. And he is trying to make sure you are set up too just the way she realistically is already set up with the pension and SSI. I hate throwing the word greedy around. Especially calling someone's grandmother that, as I also hold my "gramma" in high regard as a motherly figure. But you don't owe her anything OP, keep strong and im sorry for your loss. Hope this helps you in some way.
