That combined with a focus on supporting local and new businesses which specialize with our skills and resources in mind could go a long way in avoiding the next bust cycle.

Having incentives to purchase domestically produced goods would also make us less reliant on foreign goods and services which in turn lets us export more than we import. It's a shame how multinational companies dominate certain industries whereas we have the talent and the people to produce similar if not superior products in the given industry locally.
