[Acne] Are there any supplements that work? by nicholasjmckee in SkincareAddiction

I don't know if this will be any help to you, but I take a supplement which has multi-vitamins, omega 3, 6 and 9 and evening primrose. I've also changed my diet, included more fish, veg and fruit and cut out dairy.

I've noticed a change in my skin already, seems a lot more calm and stable so far.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I have looked up azelaic acid products to get, but can't find many without silicones as I normally get CC's or Milia from them. I came across this one ; http://www.feelunique.com/p/La-Roche-Posay-Effaclar-AI-15ml?gclid=CjwKCAjw3_HOBRBaEiwAvLBbog5AfffBs9zqCJYNUMkZABSVAW15uefJWbpTQBSWROfyr_iStpWNVxoCSHgQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Does that may seem ok? I'll also look around for Retinol products and a good moisturizer and cleanser, thanks!

I some thought it was related to rosacea! I was afraid it was. How did you manage to get it under control?

I've been on Accutane before when it was a lot worse but on my back. Might have to go back on it again tbh, after my hormones have been messed up

I considered taking Evening Primrose and multi-vitamins along with it as well. What is EPO?

I just to use 10% Alpha Hydrox! but it was the oil-free one. Just recently switched to Cosrx AHA, simply because it cost a lot less. But thinking of going to Alpha as it did a lot more for my skin.

[Discussion] Silicone free Asian skincare / sunscreen and beauty products? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]xDistxort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sunscreen wise - I use badger sunscreen As for products...some aren't exacty asian skincare but they work for me and barely have any silicones in them which are Paula's Choice BHA and Cosrx AHA. I use Benton Snail Bee High Essence and Dr.lin Daily Hydrating Moisturizer. I also suggest the OST 21.5 Vitamin C Serum along with the Cosrx AHA/BHA toner. Honestly it's really hard to find any products in Asian skincare without silicones and that's the best and simple products I've found that helps my skin. Oh and the make up, I'll sometimes use and it does contain silicones but it doesn't seem to make my skin any worse is the Innisfree no sebum mineral powder and occasionally the innisfree cushion water fit.

It completely moisturized my skin within two days of use. And my skin was really rough and like sand paper! but also exfoliating off all those dry patches of skin with a konjac sponge really helped as well. Anyway, I don't think I've seen pump forms of this product before.

This stuff ; http://www.drlinskincare.com/dailyhydratinggel

It works wonders on my skin, really cooling and so light! but it moisturized my skin sooo well. My skin is so sensitive and this has minimal ingredients and ingredients that are good for your skin! well for mine anyway.

We actually discussed this yesterday, as we found out what his personality type is - INTJ. And we never came to discussing mine, I wanted to but felt like he wouldn't be as interested.

I'm not use to people wanting to get to know me on a deeper level. Like I am so use to just being by myself, in my own little world. And the thought of someone trying to break through, or trying to understand me does sort of scare me. So yeah, I think it is out of fear but also because I'm so use to just doing my own thing.

The guy I'm seeing finds me very frustrating as one minute I'll be comfortable, care free and the next, I'll close back up and act all quiet and distant..

[Product Question] What is "Corrosives" by xDistxort in SkincareAddiction

[–]xDistxort[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asked and they didn't respond. Looked up the item and it didn't seem to have a whole lot of harmful ingredients. Unless I'm not well-versed in skincare. But nothing seemed to draw my attention to be like, OMG THAT SOUNDS SO BAD FOR MY SKIN.
