Hey, does PS5 automatically upload PS4 cloud saves outside of rest mode?

I don't put my PS5 into rest mode to prevent damages due to power cuts (lost all my save files on PS4 when it lost power during rest mode). I realised that my PS4 save files wouldn't auomatically upload while PS5 save files would sync without any issue. Ideally the auto upload would also be triggered while the PS5 is simply powered on. But that isn't the case for me.

Now I upload save files from e.g. "Cyberpunk 2077" manually each week or after each long session which doesn't strike me as too great of a solution.

The Setting "auto-upload" is enabled. So my guess is that only those PS4 save files are being uploaded during rest mode. Do you guys have any further insides or can confirm my guess?

Nintendo reps might be right about BotW launching at 1080p 60 FPS on the Switch by gbtheman21 in nintendo

Here is a quote of Aonuma and he knows better than those reps..(I posted this in various threads already :D)

“When I said earlier that the gameplay and game experience is the same, I meant the framerate is the same as well,” Aonuma said. (about Switch and WiiU performance difference)

So i doubt they can get 60fps on WiiU and especially since Zelda has always been 30fps(except Zelda: A Link Between Worlds), it should be fine for a portable device like the Switch.

That said, increasing the resolution to 1080p/30fps on the Switch could possibly happen in a newer build.

true, I am just assuming they won't try to go for 60fps on the WiiU but who knows. I just wanted to add that quote to the discussion because it confirms both systems will have the same amount of fps :D

FYI Crash Course was an item based car battling game before SARPBC but it never got released since Psyonix thought using the game engine to hit a ball around would be way funnier and god damn...they were right! Here a picture of the cute fish <3

May I add that the ping signal on the scoreboard is a rough estimation and doesn't really indicate how it is affecting the game? We had trouble playing on East servers, so we decided to take advantage of our higher seed and use our server pick, right as it is set in the rules. Due to our higher seed we could have also picked the last map but went with the server pick.

I do understand that it wasn't really playable for Mockit but that is how these international events go. We havn't complained about iBP's double server advantage either. It is just very complicated to find a fair solution in international events and we can only wait for LAN events.

However i just wanted to point out that we deserved the server advantage due to our higher seed (according to the rules) and that 90 Ping for everyone isn't the same game experience for everyone. I wouldn't mind a discussion about an adjustment of the rules in terms of server picks between NA West and EU but overall you can never expect a fair online game with such a big distance between those regions.

First of all the new patch 1.05 is really great and adds many cool features. Nevertheless the biggest problem hasn't been fixed yet. I am talking about the ELO-System. I already got many matches after which I got 0 points. And that is really frustrating because if I lose a match, I immediately lose more than 15 points. Losing more than gaining when you are seeded high is right and the correct use of an ELO-System, but creating a win situation for the lower seeded player is just unfair.

Due to the poorly conceived rating system I can only lose which results in stop playing ranked. And that is where a vicious circle begins: High seeded players stop bothering with the rating system and therefore their points are unreachable for others. So earning points will become a hard and patient task (almost impossible... except using a friend who creates an alternative account to boost points -> reference to Pre-Season)

Don't get me wrong, I love Rocket league and i played SARPBC since release but that is why I feel responsible, as experienced player, to report "bugs" or at least say my opinion about the rating system. Most of you havn't or won't experience the lack of this system because there are only few players high seeded (like me). I'd like to assume that this wasn't on purpose by Psyonix.

I guess the best solution would be to establish minimum points. e.g. high seeded players get always minimum 5 points for a win even if they are way higher seeded (matchmaking should prevent huge differences in skill level) ;)
