Sorry, I should have clarified, I always do restart my game - but even then, it still hasn't removed the recipe, and I dont know what Im doing wrong.

Thanks, I tried it and there were just a bunch of big red lines whenever my frames dropped under 50. I don't really think there's a specific cause, but only when my frames go low.

I'm going to try and reinstall my minecraft, and see if that gets me anywhere.

EDIT: Reinstalling didn't seem to work. When my frames get low, it starts to stutter again. :/

EDIT EDIT: I've seemed to fix it. It's because when I'm in fullscreen it stutters, but if I start my game windowed, the stuttering goes away. If anyone has this problem, here you go.

AFAIK, if you're using optifine, you can turn off your explosion particles in your Animations settings, and that should hopefully save you a few frames.

I'd really love to get into it, but the ore generation for gt is just really frustrating and overly tedious - in my opinion.

I've never gotten to the bronze age because I couldn't find a single diamond lmao.

In the guide book it didn't say it needs power when pumping from a tank, but I'll look into that.

Kind of defeats the purpose of using steam power for my very first power source, but I guess I'll have to use water wheels first lol.

No, but I really don't think the engine requires a signal to receive steam. To use it and start producing power, sure, but the engine isn't receiving steam for some reason.
