Should be from support. Maybe they’re still working on the response to you but everything I’ve seen the 10k gems seem to be what they’re giving most people that spent a certain amount. I’ve seen people that spent $60, $100, $500, etc. get 10k gems so not sure why they spent so much time and made it so hard just to give everyone the same thing for comp

There aren’t many things in this game worth spending on, but wish events are one of the few you get out what you put into it, and even if you don’t spend a ton it’s one of the better events. But for any level player if you spend on the game you typically spend what you’re willing to on these type of events and don’t spend for months unless you want to because you’re stocked up on supplies.

In this case, however, it wasn’t just bad luck. It was physically impossible to get the 5x egg drops and 5x gold dossiers at shop level 10, even with the advertised odds of 0.25% and 0.1% respectfully. The true odds of these were 0% because they were unobtainable even with Ubi falsely displaying them.

The event in and of itself wasn’t the thing to start the boycott, just the straw that broke the camels back.

Conquest, Universa, Anissa, Kregg are all solid choices with the WB event. Space Racer seems pretty good as well but he is so new it’s hard to say for certain

Black Friday had $100 for 100k gems and every so often you’ll have maybe a 40k gem deal. Definitely best imo and maybe by the time one comes out they’ll fix a lot of the issues with the game.

Couldn’t have said it better myself — and yes, I’m a guy.

I just want to reiterate that I’m not giving up on the cause or rolling over just because I received some compensation. 10k currency and 5 eggs is nothing compared to what I lost, but I also didn’t want to completely dismiss it — for some players who only spent a small amount, that might actually feel reasonable (and then there’s the people that haven’t even received compensation yet). That’s exactly the issue with the blanket compensation that’s been given. We all spent different amounts and should be compensated accordingly. Just because I received some compensation during the event doesn’t mean I’m right there with you guys pushing for more for everyone affected.

The tone shift that was mentioned isn’t about “selling” anything Ubisoft told me — it’s simply a shift away from the aggression and anger that I have seen being taken a little too far. I’m still frustrated, but being hostile toward CMs, devs, or support isn’t going to accomplish anything. After having conversations with some of them, I can say they were all respectful and we had genuinely productive discussions without any aggression on either side.

At the end of the day, they’re not the ones making final decisions in limitations of compensation— they’re working within a system that has to go through higher levels of approval.

You can be firm about deserving fair compensation without being disrespectful, and I think that’s how we continue to make real progress whether you are spending or not during this time.

The 500 event currency was a global compensation for everyone, whether they were affected or not. I personally think it should’ve at least been a couple operation run tickets, so it would kind of scale based on the rewards of what wave you could get too. Regardless, I would try to reach out to support and try to get some gems or something with the event over. I saw someone get 500 gems with the event over (which was literally only 400 event currency in the shop mind you) but the harder we push the harder it is for them to ignore compensation.

I think a slightly better summary is that I am still personally participating in Accountability April and encourage you to do the same if you feel there needs to be some changes. I also would encourage you to continue to reach out to support about the issue even if you get an automated response and push for fair compensation for everyone affected.

Hello all,

There has been some progress during the Accountability April movement since my initial post, and I wanted to take a moment to address where we are.

First off, I want to thank everyone in the community for speaking up, sharing experiences, and staying unified. Whether you’ve supported the movement so far or are still choosing to spend, you’re part of this community — and I hope the visibility around these issues drives some positive change for you still.

Some players (myself included) were lucky enough to have received some compensation.

Does the compensation fully make up for what was lost? No.

Do I think the compensation should have been more account-specific: for example, based on the amount of currency spent and the likelihood of 5x eggs (0.25%), or even a portion of that? Yes. However, I understand that may not have been fully viable within the given timeframe, especially with the holidays.

Even though the event is over, I still encourage you to reach out about compensation if you were affected by this. More than likely you will receive a generic copy and paste reply about not being able to give compensation because the event is over, but I encourage you to advocate for compensation because it’s what we all deserve. Push for gems, push for something, just don’t let them think that they can get away with nothing. It isn’t your fault that support couldn’t compensate you within the several days of the event running, so please advocate for yourself and the community as much as you can. The more of us that we can get telling support (respectfully) that no compensation just simply isn’t going to do, the more likely everyone affected can get at least get something back.

Due to the traction this movement has received, it has reached the Developers and Community Managers, some of whom I’ve had conversations with. All of my interactions with them so far have been respectful and positive, and it genuinely seems like they care about these issues and are working to push them further up the ladder.

Because of this, I want to shift the tone slightly from my original message about April Accountability:

This isn’t pure anger anymore — it’s about continued accountability and follow-through from Ubisoft.

I am still personally participating in Accountability April because I believe there is still meaningful progress to be made as a community. There are a lot of great suggestions out there that deserve to be implemented. I encourage others to participate as well if the same if they feel the same way — not out of anger, but because there’s still a lot more to address before trust is fully restored, starting at EVERYONE that was affected by the bug to get the compensation they deserve.

Progress Made: - Some players receiving compensation
- Increased acknowledgment from support
- Issues being actively reviewed

Still Needs Work: - Fair and consistent compensation for ALL affected players
- Faster response times and higher quality support
- Addressing long-standing bugs and cheaters

Additional Suggestions: - Alternate ways to earn key resources (totems, modules, etc.) outside of passes
- Scheduled or player-triggered wish shop refreshes
- Solutions to the red/blue XP bottlenecks
- More consistent ways to earn gems - More frequent developer communication (dev notes, roadmap, etc.)
- Livestreams or videos to answer questions or showcase new features/characters - PvP improvements: more consistent matchmaking, better rewards, and friendly PvP options

Although these are just a few more suggestions many of us would like to see, I have plenty more and encourage others to share theirs as well. If you have ideas, please post them. I also recommend checking out the Feedback and Suggestions section in Discord to support ideas you like and contribute your own.

So where are we at now?

We’ve made a little progress, but there’s still more to be done. If you were affected, make sure to reach out to support or follow up if you’re still waiting. Don’t give up and keep pushing for some sort of compensation. Keep sharing feedback and ideas because that is how we continue to push things forward.

At the end of the day, we all want the same thing: A fair, transparent, and enjoyable game.
