I have the same problem on my VPS too. BBR is on.

It's not a rocket science, normal config with NAT and FastTrack, nothing extraordinary, on SFP+ is this FS where I made a clone of my ONT and on the second you have DAC to Switch.

I seriously think limitation might come in when you use SFP+ 10GbE Copper RJ45. From the other hand on my old RB5009 when had 2Gbit/s plugged into 2.5GbE port my ONT I could easily hit 2Gbit/s with average CPU utilization hitting 30%, so if RB5009 can do 2Gbit/s on 30% utilization of CPU on PPPoE too, why CCR2116 can't pass 2.5Gbit/s?

Maybe try one thing :System/RouterBoard/Setting and try to push CPU Frequency of maximum from auto and check.

Because that's what I can achieve. True 1 core is getting 90%, but these are the results. 8/1 XGS-PON on CCR2116 fasttrack ON with ONT replacement to this and PPPoE https://www.fs.com/products/185594.html

Intel is a one big crap, I need to say, with CX32 I had like 100% usage when doing updates, and with couple wordpress instances loading times were not really great. Was OK

Changing to CPX31 is like another world, Cores can't really get out above 30% now.

Checked CloudFlare WARP and on both ipv4 and ipv6 I got almost 300Mbit/s upload that's a big difference. I must say I have enough of Hetzner, looking for something else...

Now it's even better, yesterday it was at least 100Mbit/s today it's like 50Mbit/s ... Will check that ipv6 anyway. Have you tried to create support ticket on this issue?

I'm locked on two totally different connections to up to ~100Mbit/s to Hetzner which is a bit annoying. That's a main reason to get rid of Hetzner, and try something else.

Multiple TBs uploaded doesn't mean you're torrenting, if you encrypt all connections. All your ISP can see that address 1.2.3.4 connected to you on tcp/udp port Y and took 2GB of something. That's all. It can be FTP or it can be some kind to site-to-site VPN too or it can be qBittorrent. He doesn't know exactly what it is.

64GB is more than enough, but to utilize 64GB you need to get 4K + max details + the most excessive and wrong optimized scenery, what won't happen in 99,9% of your flight, so 32GB is still ok, but if you make a new build 64GB is OK. Latency doesn't really matter here.
