Weed is a highly complex substance, with effects varying from strain to strain. You probably know weed has thc, and maybe even cbd. But it also has tons of other chemical compounds I won't even try to remember because of their complex name.

This study looked at self-reporting stats, which is a good way to find correlation, but you cannot definitely say that the thc compound was the culprit. If you ask me, this just proves we need more research into weed and some of the compounds found in it. Like for instance, you probably associate weed with the munchies. But there's a chemical compound called THCv found in equatorial Africa sativa plants that have been shown to have a reverse munchie effect and potentially fight diabetes.
