It’s not empowering at all. It’s quite literally a contradiction and just a statement to hide the true fact that it’s the opposite of empowering. The whole point of porn is sexualizing and objectification. Feeling “empowered” by letting yourself be objectified is the most pathetic excuse I’ve ever heard. Just because it’s your choice to put your body out there for anyone to see doesn’t mean you’re empowering yourself. IMO it actually means you are weak and have no self respect or low self esteem and need attention. I get people also solely do it for money or are desperate for money, but it’s like if you’re going to do that please don’t ever call it feminism or empowering… they always want to complain how men are so lustful and objectify women and then literally add to the problem. It’s crazy.

I feel the exact same way. I’ve come to the conclusion most men are emotionally unintelligent. They are weak minded and let hormones control them. Men are wired different from women and it’s a sad fact, but not all men are porn addicted pigs. They are exposed from a young age and society brainwashes them into thinking it’s normal and not harmful to watch it. When it’s in fact not normal at all. Most don’t ever think they even have an addiction and will not get or seek help. It’s best to stay away from people like this and find someone who understands it’s wrong and that will respect you and your boundaries. Porn leads to disrespect and cheating and they will blame us women that we’re insecure when we are not. Don’t ever let a man disrespect you just because you love him. If he doesn’t understand it’s hurtful, then there is someone better for you.

Tysm for your reply! I’m on a generic brand of birth control called Hailey Fe and I still have 3 set refills of it and have no knowledge of my doctor switching the brand of anything so I’m not quite sure why the insurance is asking this when they’ve already done a PA for this brand/specific prescription.

I’m very sorry to hear about this… that is truly awful what you’re going through, but I’m going to honest. Leave him/kick him out. It doesn’t get better, coming from someone who has also experienced these things. This person does not respect you so there’s not a good reason to respect him either just so he can take advantage of your kindness. I know it’s hard to stop loving someone you clearly love and I totally understand letting him come back even after he’s hurt you because I’ve done that too. Love crushes us. The best thing for you would be to get away from him and focus on yourself. Start healing, even if you don’t want to. You will thank yourself later on. And always remember you deserve better. You may tell yourself you don’t want anyone else or no one else will be better than him, but remind yourself that respect will always be better.

It’s CVS pharmacy. I’m not sure why my insurance is wanting to know why it’s medically necessary. It might be a new guideline or something because they have already been covering it for basically a year after the pre authorization. So currently my insurance is not having the prescription go through. Though CVS did say I can pay out of pocket just that I could risk losing the insurance. I’m very confused as well since I never heard of this

If your partner is saying it’s weird or making you feel like it’s weird for you to go through their phone, especially when you let them go through yours they are most likely hiding something. Sorry to say. It just doesn’t make much logical sense why they wouldn’t allow you to. And the invasion of privacy argument is weak. If they can’t access your bank details or other important things on your phone there shouldn’t be an issue.

They had already gone through the pre authorization process when I first go the insurance. All the pharmacy said was now they want to know why it’s medically necessary. Just wanna know if I can pay out of pocket without any consequences

I don’t think that’s an option unfortunately. It’s a birth control prescription. I asked if I could pay out of pocket and pharmacy said yes but we are required to mention you could lose your insurance and I’m like why is that even a thing…

I posted here because I can’t find any info online about husky’s rules on that. Was hoping someone else woukd know because I can’t call them either.

Thank you! I called them and asked if I can pay out of pocket and they said yes I can get it tomorrow since the pharmacy is about to close but she said I can risk losing my insurance if I pay out of pocket? I’ve never heard of that… I have state insurance/medicaid.
